Why would he want a ride in Canada probably on less money than he’s on already?

The only reason he’s racing the British is because he didn’t have any other options on the table.

Not saying anyone will put their money into him to do GP’s full time, but if he carries on his current deal and does the occasional GP here and there I think he can make a good showing.

I think talent wise British is pretty much on par with most national series around Europe to be honest, with the exception of Germany. It’s missing the numbers but MX2 in particular this year was pretty strong

What would he prove and/or gain by doing any GP's? It certainly isn't the mountains of prize money available, if anything it'll cost him/someone else thousands...

Spend that money an go race some Canadian Nationals, mix it up a bit and experience something different. Lars van Berkel did and got an offer off a team! (I think?)

It'd be 100% more than he'd get racing GP's.

It isn't going to happen anyway, but it would certainly be cool to see one of "our" guys take that route. Him or Rizzi for example.

There would be more money for Mewse or Rizzi in Canada then in the UK? That surprises me.

No, there wouldn’t. Certainly not for Mewse anyway

I'd agree, the Canadian series isn't what it once was unfortunately.  Hopefully that can change, it was great having world class talent up north for a solid 15-20 years.

Imo a nice get for Martens. Braceras is still quite young and imo the Fantic did not help him this year. He got 6th-7th-8th place finishes with F&H.

The only thing that surprised me is that i thought Martens was going to be the EMX250 team for Honda, but i guess not.

Somewhere around the 75k mark I would think, including prize money.

He could make a lil more than that in Canada.

4th overall at the final Turkish round, don't think she rode any others. Clearly a talent.

If you are comparing UK Pounds to Canuckian Dollars, you'll have to - just now as I'm typing this  -  Multiply that 75K Brit Pounds, by 1.8, to get a real comparison, Michael.

Cripes, to get an AUD comparison, you'd have to go to 1.97 x.

Bloody hell, I've relied on OZ and Canuckian Dollars, largely being at the same exchange rates when I go there. Oh well, at least our Dollar is worth more than those Dastardly Bloody Kiwis Dollar is................But, I Don't go there, because it's full of Flamin' Horrible Bloody Kiwis - well, the ones that haven't come here, that is!😁

My guess he’s above 75k. But that’s almost 100k USD as well.

I thought Lata was joining HRC? No mention of him in the announcement today.

yeah i was surprised that Lata wasnt mentioned. However in the presser Giacomo Gariboldi mentions that "we also have some exciting news for an even stronger Team HRC coming soon".

Perhaps Gariboldi is funding the second MX2 ride?
