I’ve had terrible luck with aftermarket seals but maybe I’ll give it a shot
If you want to go OEM then it’s the below 3 plus the oil seal which I believe is the A that you mentioned. Dont really need the lock washer but I typically do use a new one.
I’d avoid all balls. I’d go with tusk if aftermarket.
Thanks for the info. It’s much appreciated.
What’s the verdict on the 51 tooth rear sprocket? I have a pipe, twin air airbox, and a touched-up ECU. Wanting a hair more bottom out of 3rd gear without losing top end. Any noticeable loss of overrev?

I'm a big boy 250LBS. But it was noticeably better for me. The tracks i ride have no problem with the bike revving out or being "in between" gears. It allowed me to get into third sooner, so to me it was a needed change.
51 all day for me. Made 2nd and third way more useable.
I’m running stock gearing on mine and am happy with it, but I haven’t tried a 51 tooth rear. 50 years of Jody experience seems to indicate that I should.
I drilled some holes in the airbox and the side panel behind the airbox cover. Seems to have helped a good bit in roll on power. I have a yosh exhaust and a bunch of holes drilled to open up the airbox cover side panel and airbox.
The best part tho is for sure the suspension and chassis, the bike just works.
Last several rides the group I’m with is all chattering about how rough and gnarly the track is, and I’m thinking to myself, huh I didn’t think it was that bad.
Testament to the bikes comfort for sure.
Has anyone put on a brembo clutch master cylinder off of a 24 ktm 450?
I also have a cut airbox and holes drilled into the side panel. I’m going to go for the 51. This motor is awesome mid and up, but I want more low end.
Thinking of getting one, but it seems the best price I can get around here ( dfw area) is 8k! OTD.
That’s in the ball park of what most are paying.
This thread has me excited. I just brought home a ‘24 today.
How is the yosh exhaust? Do u have a 24? Any pics?
Any new maps out for the 2024 450? I've got the Cha map now. I've installed the full pro circuit exhaust, drilled the air box holes, took out the grommet under the battery, cut the air box out behind the battery, and running the Twin Air powerflow kit. Also running a 51T rear and a 116 chain
It’s very good, the power is very smooth. With the air box mods, the roll on is definitely better.
I'm ordering one up. I have heard nothing but good things about the Yosh, and the packing apparently lasts a long time. I have always been a pro circuit guy, but I am tire of waiting and willing to give a different brand a shot.
I think the yosh looks sic on the Kawi! 🤙

Hi guys, what temperature do your Kawi run at? With an outside temperature of around 25 degrees, the engine always runs at between 91 and 95 degrees.
It's normal?
The Yosh is on my shortlist to purchase. Nice looking bike you’ve got there 👍
If you aren’t losing coolant, you’re fine. If you are, try ordering a higher pressure radiator cap.
Thanks, the coolant Is ok no leaks
Thanks guys! It is a bad ass bike. You kawi guys were right all along!!
I put a 1.8 cap on before my first heat cycle

Tusk lever compared to stock. Ive broke 2 stock levers @ 40 a piece. Tusk 9.99. at that price I thought it might be the lever only and not the pivot assembly. Nope everything you need. The brake lever is a good value too @ 12.99 👍
Anyone had an issues with clutch slipping when hot? I did a single practice start with LC to test it out about 6 months back, the launch was clean without issues. However since then I've noticed random clutch slipping, I figured I fried the plates which already had about 100 hours or close to. I just replaced my discs and steels last night and rode today but I still have the issue after it gets around 15 miles into a ride. I can feel the engine spinning up. It seems to happen when under hard load or when landing in a whoop and trying to power out.
When I replaced the clutch and inspected the basket I saw no severe wear at all and the oil I use Ive been using in all my bikes for years without issues. In low temps and 100+ days. Maybe master and slave cylinder heating up and slightly engaging?

You need a new clutch hub. The slightest notch makes them slip.
Wanted to leave a quick write up on triple clamps.
Ive ridden with stock clamps, 23mm X-Trigs, and 23mm Ride Engineering clamps.
The stock clamp is very comfortable, and the stock offset is good for the chassis in my opinion. But for those of us, like myself, who want a bit more precise feeling at the front wheel, an aftermarket clamp is usually the solution.
I bought some new X-trigs in July to try with the stock suspension. I was very happy with the feeling initially; turn in was much more precise and tracking was good on all but the roughest tracks. I added some FCP motor mounts and was pretty happy with the chassis comfort overall. I was ready for some suspension work, as it didn’t have the holdup I needed as a Vet B.
After getting my stuff done by REP, I loved the feel of it, but was getting a harsh feeling on square edge hits and faster chop. After 11:00 on most SoCal practice days, the bike beat me up. Spent some time on setup, different clickers, fork height, torque specs, etc, but couldn’t get that harsh feeling to go away. Ultimately, I ended up buying and running the Ride Engineering clamp for the bike.
The Ride clamps have the perfect blend of precision and comfort for me with my stiffer suspension setup. I don’t think they’re as precise as the X-trigs, but feel about 90% as precise while being 50% more forgiving. I don’t have any more harshness, and I can change fork compression freely between tracks without fearing the associated jarring effects on my body. These clamps work great on the bike. Adrian at Ride was a big help when I called him, and was able to answer my questions before I bought them.
I will say, if you’re a Vet guy who rides smooth tracks, or like a soft fork, I think the X-trigs are just fine. I’ve found the fork will be a bit more sensitive to setup, and you may need to use more comfort items, like a compliant bar and glue-on grips, to get the same amount of comfort.
What is everyone's input to remove some weight from these bikes?
I know exhaust is a good start, clamps maybe the next easiest one?
Love the bike, but would also like to take some easy weight off if possible
