They didn’t open the top bowl and I’d say the bottom bowl was 1/2 full at least so probably 12-15000. It was a fun night.

I am inclined to agree.
I am sure they are both great dudes.
I have also concluded that I’m not the target audience of SX anymore.
We have both changed.
That is possibly the worst TV production of SX i have seen, apart from all the other WSX.
If Ralph and Emig arent barking at the director to go back to the leaders through talkback, or saying it out loud on the broadcast , they need to have a word with themselves.
Cameras were awful, too close, not enough on screen to talk about, when you are zooming in all the time.
You could cover the whole race with one camera, and do a better job than that.
Poor.
What was the 'Glacial Till' count in the end?
Well it wasn't perfect, but it definitely was a step in the right direction in my opinion. I understand that it's a pain to carry tough blocks around the world and that it can be a rider safety if you catch a footpeg or whatever, but maybe they could resolve that problem by having 10-15 real tough blocks and putting them in strategic places, like the first turn corner and maybe where tight inside line form.
I wish they would talk more about the GLACIAL TILL

The continuity of the shots was rough too. Hard to follow parts of the race.
I recall thinking something positive about Bondo at one point.
This Glacial Till : I guess that's the black / charcoal looking dirt?
Saw it, in the previews, and thought it might by some sort of Shale Oil tailings, or some such thing.
It looked to be a Very Different type of surface, to the Norm(s).
I haven't watched it - might catch up with it in the next few days. From some posts I've seen, it appears Friese is up to his usual things - being the Villain / Nutter.

i just watched the recording of the races.....the leader board was a mess....riders dropping all over the board back and forth like it was a lottery board.

Too bad Bondo doesn’t do these off season races. For all the heat he takes the production of this race broadcast needed help. Missed Tomac pass, crashes. No rewind.
I'm assuming it's because race highlights take longer to edit.

It’s not even like it came out of nowhere. You could hear the crowd cheering multiple times and could see a yellow and blue blur very close to each other in the background.

Not going to lie, after being at the race then watching it when we got home, omg did they miss A LOT. The last race of the night ET3 was wheeling the entire whoop section, lap after lap, it was unreal.
I went. I’d say attendances was around 15,000-20,000. The capacity of B.C. place is 55,000 with the upper level open, for this event and most, like MLS it’s closed. I thought is was pretty well attended when the gate dropped. I was expecting worse. Whole thing wasn’t an AMA level production but who expected that? I had fun and was stoked to see a real track (not arena cross)
i liked the format ,it was fun to watch all the starts and short races.
And yeah ,the TV broadcast could use a lot of improvement.

SuperDuperFinal scoring was really bad.. VF was showing 1st, then 10th..
Much better than WSX was last year, but not quite there yet.

card board tuff blocks isn't that new.!
if they jumped on the old covered straw bales they stayed solid like a brick but the card board version collapse and doesn't stop that hard
