but it was a weird interview, the camera angle and it was like two buddies having a beer... or like Chase had just resigned and didn't give a cr*p about his company and just spilled everything, after a few beers you more easily call your buddy a girl just for fun.
...but I agree, it was a GREAT interview of Chase and I'm more a Chase fan now than I used to be. He is a cool guy, but you could feel he takes racing seriously, he is doing what needs to be done to win.
Chase, if you're reading this, we love the honesty. Hope you don't change going forward, even if the KTM brass want everything silenced.

Why did you guys pull the video off the site?
It amazes me that the general public can try to relate what a top professional rider is saying about their bike set up and compare it to their own personal bikes. Any bike purchased today will be about 98% more bike then about 99% of the public needs. Chase speaking about bike set up should have no bearing on bike sales for KTM. It’s a great bike off the showroom floor. Setting it for a supercross track is heads a shoulders over what the general consumer would ever need.
The Pierre Mobility group should spin off WP. WP also makes radiators so there should be some value. Just think if the sx/mx team had 1/10 the budget that the KTM moto gp team have.

Exactly. KTM group should make their Factory Edition a Supercross specific frame. They won’t have a problem selling 500 of them to folks that “need” the coolest new bike. They they would have 2 platforms to build race bikes off of.

Chase said it is a good bike and it was just about making him comfortable. I didn’t think it reflected poorly on KTM. What rider hasn’t made comments about working on setup. Kenny has commented on issues with KYB and Showa, Eli certainly commented on the Kawi, and Jett just said they need to have a meeting this week to address issues. ..and the list goes on. That KTM has a new (different?) shock for him sends a good message IMO.

WP had Pedro Acosta come to the factory over the MotoGP summer break to work on new fork designs. He was riding a Moto2 bike due to testing limitations. The Moto2 bikes with WP forks went from struggling to winning. The MotoGP guys are doing better too.
Maybe chase should ask to get that new 26 factory edition that hes ridden a little earlier
Questioning when/if a rider can win is not the same as disliking them. I can like Chase the rider while also questioning if he, or anyone else, can beat Jett. I can also acknowledge Deegan's wins and completely dislike everything about the Deegashian family and their traveling circus.

I'll be the first to say, he needs to win a straight up battle with a healthy Jett to really stamp it. I guess I was more addressing the people who all immediately put a * by his titles/wins.
