I have not been to Mt View in about 16 years when the PNW mx series raced there.   I have been really wanting to make it back there this year and take my son who has never been there. I hope I can make it happen asap

The economics of charging $40-50 to ride don't seem to add up for tracks that aren't open on a regular schedule.

$50 is a bargain when you sign up for Limited Practice and get to ride all day...

Keep in mind most tracks you get to ride all day.   Most do not break up practice.  Some do but not most I have been to throughout the USA.   CA is a good example as most tracks are open all the time during practice and yes all of those tracks in CA are lower priced as well.   I normally pay $25 a many of them do to a discount and most are $35.   $50 is the most I have paid for a normal practice.

You guys have it good then. Here in the PNW $50 all day is the best you can get. Or pay $40 per practice class at Washougal and barely get to ride...

The pnw changed more than any other area in the country. I,m surprised you can ride at all.  There big on anti fossil fuel engines.  Checking emissions on trucks every co avoids going there.  There is some cheap riding in America yet 20-25 s day or 200 a yr ride 6 days a week. No waiting for sessions bring 10 gal & ride in Wi. But only 5-6 months of the yr.  New Richmond indoor riding is 50 but everyone says it’s really fun and worth it.  Might be more because AX pays more . Guys use it to get the timing down.

Maybe motosport should buy it. It's a fun track real blow to the area if it closes.

Man its pretty far from both Motosport operations but it would be cool but thats a lot of added stress to a dealership or a .com

WUT

Most of the PNW has no emissions restrictions, it's also primarily desert and you can ride year round if you don't mind very dry summer conditions, where I live in the PNW we ride in the winter, and rarely in the summer. The PNW is much larger then Portland and Seattle.

Our real estate market bubbled hugely and it's bursting. Average home prices pushing $800k 6 months ago but now you're hard pressed to find a home for sale that doesn't have a price cut. With the market cooling I don't see this fetching 3m, maybe during covid but now is not likely imo.

Does anybody have an update on the track being for sale?  Have they had any offers, or interested buyers?

I’ve heard it was bought by a moto family with very deep pockets and plans to improve the facility. Don’t have a name.

MV just posted the listing link on Facebook so I'm guessing that there was not a sale, yet. Rumor mill proven wrong?

Off topic but at first I thought this was the track that was high up in the mountains of I believe the PNW that was short lived because of the dangerous roads leading up to it. Does anyone remember the name of that track? If I remember correctly, an rv lost control leaving a race from there killing a son and father.

I just saw the same thing on Facebook. After hearing those sale rumors this weekend, I looked and the listing was still active not pending……kinda figured the rumors of it bought by an mx family were too good to be true.

Maybe the paperwork is not all done yet - at least that is what I am hoping.

If that's true it would be listed as pending not active. Doesn't look like there's been an accepted offer yet

I am familiar with both parties and it wasnt just a rumor, although it does sound as if it may have stalled out.

Yeah - it was wishful thinking.

Hope it does sell to someone that will keep the track open.
