I am surprised I have not seen it mentioned here yet, I even checked the home page LOL. Anyway, Ty has definitely worked for this one 🤘
Ty Masterpool Confirms Deal with Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki for 2025 - Racer X (racerxonline.com)
Its in the Silly Season report. Very happy for Ty. That young man has been through a lot and battled back when most would have given up.
It’ll be interesting to see if Mitch can turn him into a top 5 250 SX guy.
I think he can, because its a Regional Championship with half the field.
Kid deserves a proper shot at it! Can't wait to see how he does being able to focus solely on fitness and riding.

Very deserving ride! Hoping this confirms Forkner is on his way to a new team.
That's fucking great news. So happy for Ty and damn, Mitch is one awesome dude...the love he puts in is 2nd to none....
Good for Ty Masterpool. He will need to spend some time in California testing with the team.
Always a hater!!!
I hope that new scenery, new bike, a kid, and whatever else, can put austin in a good headspace and hope he can get the results we all know he can, which is a lot more wins/podiums, etc.
He’s already here I would assume.
Pumped.
I am surprised Kawi took a chance on a kid who has had such poor results in SX and who seems to not like SX, I wouldn't have be surprised if it would have been a MX/SMX only deal but a full contract seems like they would have been better investing in Drew Adams?
It makes me wonder if we will get to a point in our sport where we start seeing SX/SMX only and MX/SMX only structured deals?
Mitch has many guys who can run upfront in SX, maybe not as strong in MX. Ty is 1 of the only guys to run with Deegs this year, if he makes it through SX, and has a full season of training, he can be in the championship conversation. We can work with speed
The weird part to me was how up and down his season was. After he won High Point with very little time on the bike, I expected him to be a front runner for the rest of the year and get better with more time on the bike. Besides the win, he only had one top five all year. Was he nursing an injury?
I hope he can make it through SX healthy and build toward a strong MX performance.
Still beating…
I see that coming to fruition in some manner.
Full time MX privateers taking it to the factory SX specialists come outdoors.
He said the lack of offseason training caught up with him. I'm sure getting a PC ride gave him a boost, but without a boot camp, deep in the season he's gonna start fading. Time will tell if that was true lol
Pit Row
Didn't he crash in almost every moto start after High Point? My memory might be a bit off tho. He had some incredible comeback rides that often flew under the radar. Also the battle with Deegan at RedBud comes to mind, that was epic too. So, mentioning only High Point seems a bit unfair. Overall he had a really good first season with Pro Circuit on the 250.
He did have 4 motos he went down in the first turn after the Hi Point win.
Did managed 2nd overall at Red Bud.
He has been in California since Charlotte training at the Kawi test track complete with woops.
