Eli said he felt good and was happy. The quad got sketchy and a little too deep in the transition to send it so he said he played it safe and it cost him.
Jett said he surprised himself and was happy to battle with Eli and check it off the bucket list
Jett more or less just said that he was surprised that he won.
Eli was happy about the race and the results and said that Jett killed him in the sand and then blamed missing the quad a bit for the loss. But Jett did not do the quad neither so it’s irrelevant.
Chase said that the bike were off (chocker) then praised the other two riders in front of him.
That’s good, love to see respectful jett, not that he hasn’t been before, but some things he’s said weren’t respectful at some points, but that’s in the past now. I knew something was going on with eli not jumping the quad. The boys battled hard today.
So did he mention his bike being off or not?

Jett impressed me, did not think he would be this good so soon. Plus his ability to suddenly drop his times when need to make up gaps, it was great to see Eli up front were he belong. Looked better than he did in sx.

You're not getting a shorter series unless everyone involved decides they want to make less money, riders included. So not going to happen.
Riders could demand the money to be spread at the two main series instead.
We all know why the SMX ”series” were created and the riders were never a fan of it.
It's funny that when the guys made squat they didn't complain about the number of races. Now there's some money in the game...the seasons too long.

Riders can't demand anything. They can try to negotiate if they want to, but their only bargaining chip is not showing up. Not nearly enough of them are financially secure enough to do that on a large enough scale to matter, especially when they have relatively short window of time to make money and their ability to earn goes down a ton when they aren't racing.
It's just talk at the end of a long season.
Surely the manurfactures can form together and create a pact like F1.
The extra expense and rounds must hurting everyone, except Feld.
I’m sure it’s in all of the contracts now. Why don’t these agents work the contract to say they’ll only race SX and MX if they think SMX is stupid? Because they have a carrot dangled in front of them. Ultimately they are the ones who agreed to this schedule with their teams.
People sign SX only deals without issue, why not SX and MX only deals? Or SX and SMX only deals? If enough of the big names start signing contracts like that, you would think Feld and MXS would try to remedy the problem then right? Right?! 😔

Kinda lame that they hold the race right in the middle of the day on Saturday. Most people are out doing other stuff and not home watching racing. Then the results get spoiled on instagram, good times 😂
