I think Plessinger. Hes riding probably the best he ever has. Maybe Ironman will chage my mind, but Plessinger rode well yesterday.

Tomac. He was matching AP late in moto 1 and is off the couch.

If Tomac is willing to go you send him, he won't cheat you for effort and he has definitely earned it. As good as AP is riding at the moment, I feel that Eli's ceiling and floor are higher than Aaron's. Your team is in a good position to be choosing between those two, not to mention having Justin Cooper as a backup.

Guessing this would be the last chance for Eli to get on the team if he isn’t racing outdoors next year. Not sure that’s the case for sure but I thought I read or heard it someplace.

Anyway,in my opinion AP is riding great and should be on the team.

Can’t say that Tomac set the world on fire yesterday.

AP’s starts has been on point and it’s a big risk that UK in the fall can be a mudder.

As it looks now, AP would be the safest bet.

Love Tomac, but Cowboy Pless should be the one to go.

If we send Tomac one of his moto scores will be the one we end up dropping. Crazy not to send AP7 especially when he would never turn down an opportunity to represent Team USA, definitely can not say the same about Tomac.

AP got 18th in a moto last year and I don’t even think he crashed.

Is it true that AP hasn't even won a 450 moto before?

In the Last few years the most succesful Team USA included Sexton and Tomac...

I love AP but honestly how many meaningful passes has he ever made? Not to mention his MXDN results are quite disappointing.  Give me Jcoop or a well rested Eli.

I think if Tomac wants to go you have to send him, his ceiling is just that much higher. Him and Anderson are the only two to win motos for team USA at the race in the past ten years. And not to shit on AP but he hasn’t exactly set the world on fire at the race in the past either.

Edit: I just remembered that Barcia won a moto back in 2015 as well but I think my point still stands

Tomac needs to show me what he has left in the tank…. I really want him on the team.  Hopefully we see at Ironman.

Otherwise today, it would be AP.  He doesn’t have the late moto speed of the elite riders, but he’s starting up front and stronger and faster than he was just 1 year ago.

Tomac. Both times AP has gone, he was coming off similar seasons (250 champ) and has not performed when the time came. AP is having a similar season as 2023, where he mainly finished 4th behind Jett, Chase, and Ferrandis. At MxoN, Tomac went 1-6 in 2022, 4-5 in 2018. AP went 5-18 in 2023 and 14-16 in 2018. We can't afford a drop score out of the top 10 anymore if we want to win it. J Coop's 9th was dropped in 2022.

Im glad im not the one deciding this !!
AP is absolutely on his best form and holding down 3rd best overall in AMA MX right now
ET3 fresh off an injury pulls a 4th place at budds and his record of winning is outstanding
Main thing we need is a solid 250 guy that can get that one good moto to bring it all together points wise

Imo…AP…it’s not even a close decision. He’s the better racer right now and he’s earned it.

Out of the 27 rounds run this year, ET was a top three American maybe once or twice in Supercross; I don’t consider that earning it. JCoop has earned it more than that…let alone AP!

If the choice were mine to make, I would choose ET3 to go to England for Team USA! Tomac's first outdoor race in 2 years and it's 1 second off in qualifying and a strong moto 1 finish. Terrible start in Moto2 and seemed content to finish the moto outside the top 10 but this is no indication of his speed or potential.

When Tomac goes beast mode (and he still has this in him) AP can't come close

Haiden’s talking like he’s going now but I don’t buy it. I think he’s just keeping the fans happy for as long as possible. I’d send Chase, J Coop, AP. If J Coop won’t drop down, send Hymas.

Not even a question.

You send the hungry, fresh dog who is 4th all time in MX points.

A 2:02 fast lap in Moto 2 versus a 1:58…?

A 2:05.85 avg lap in moto 2 versus a 2:01.50…?

Send Phil. He held off Tomac for 30 mins in moto 2. 👍

AP. We don’t need another Christian Craig performance like last year.

If Vital is any indicator (bell weather)of the American moto fans opinions...the MXdN is just too damn expensive, dangerous, and basically meaningless.  Time for us old fogeys to stfu and let go of the "good ole days".

A tough pill to swallow but life goes on.  🥴

Send Tomac, it could and may very well be his last Motocross of Nations, 4th after two years of no motocross is very impressive. AP hasn’t come in clutch at nations. If we send Haiden, we may get a good result, chase will get a good result being on top form. Eli who knows.

USA's best chance and these three have the ability to bring the trophy back to the USA -Deegan, Sexton and Tomac.
