Years back I helped at the MXGP in Bastogne. The same thing happened, a important journalist was posting too much video on his socials. YS fixed it with a good ol' talk and a hand shake.
Overacting a bit because it is Cooksey if you ask me.
The guys looks for drama so he can get clicks. He knows why he is being kicked out, but pretends not to so he can claim to be a victim. He is a carny, not even close to a journalist.

If this indeed is the real reason, need to make sure anyone filming or taking pics during the day (except those pre-approved by the insurance company and who only say nice things about DC) are immediately kicked out.
Maybe GuyB could run the gates and turn folks away who made mean or political posts on VitalMx

As for the rest, I find it interesting that the overwhelming majority of posters in this thread proudly proclaim "Never seen a video of his....but he's a loser!"
The guy pumps out a crazy amount of content so it doesn't surprise me he gets things wrong. He creates whatever content he creates, and he asks nobody for permission. ML and him have some sort of history, so he's banished from this site. DC doesn't like him cause he calls BS on DC's decision/history and he posts proof of those claims (like the GHelen topic). Then DC tells ML some BS story about "Oh, I didn't throw him out - NBC did" and the topic is over?
Did anybody actually see his video with the 2 armed cops walking behind him and tossing him "for trespassing". Why would NBC toss him "for trespassing" if they were actually pissed he was live-streaming? None of it passes a smell test, but I recognize that this story (like all others) will just be moved to the dumbgeon and that's it.

Live streaming any other major sport will get you booted as well. NBC pays for the rights, that’s how it goes.

Chances are that software picked up the streaming and they may have no idea that it was Cooksey. They may not even care who it was, just that he was doing it at all.
Try taking a DSLR into a supercross race and NOT complying with requests from security. You too will be removed. No matter if You have 1 follower or a billion. And it will be because of the policy the stadium, or Feld, or NBC has. Depending on who catches you and what exactly You are doing at the time. They all have their own restrictions as far as what is allowed and what is not allowed into the stadiums.
Streaming a race is a clear violation and if you get caught and refuse to stop. Or have been warned before, You will be removed. I would bet that it happens to many other much lesser known people multiple times per race.
Cooksey literally threatened my life, he threatened Hopper with some form of physical harm as well recently.

Wether you like him or not he did pay, so kicking him out for trespassing is bs and they probably won’t refund his money either. Someone has to be the bigger person and that should be mxsports. It’s not like he is really hurting them, people are still showing up and they are still making their money.

Sure do. Maybe I’m way off and don’t understand, but I cannot imagine NBC executives following Ccoksey and thinking he’s a big enough deal to kick out. With all the others that do it and how critical Cooksey has been of MX Sports it seems odd and petty.
I don’t care either way. But like I said before, this action gives Cooksey credibility to his statements and makes MX Sports look bad. Wether it was a planned action or not by Cooksey he’s winning. He’s getting clicks, conversations on the forums, and MX Sports looks like assholes.

I've got the exact opposite take.
When You buy a ticket to an event You agree to the rules the event organizer has put in place. When You break those rules You no longer have permission and are Trespassing. No conspiracy . Go try doing it Yourself, and if You get busted. Try refusing to stop, refusing to leave. And see how it goes for you. Chances are that even being a random person. You too will get the same treatment .

This is one reason why this sport will never transcend,, the amount of journalists in this sport that are scared to be non biased against the riders is nuts. They all want to be insiders it crazy, they all want to be buddy buddy with the rider and be apart of group texts with these guys and they are scared to say anything negative against them and if you do your shunned. Clear example Cooksey. Say what you will but he does good journalism he’s not scared to ruffle some feathers and breaks open some mind opening stuff.
ML….. I don’t agree with everything you say or do on here but I have to admit, you have the patience of Job to put up with and let slide some of the crap we morans put out on here. I tip my cap to you sir!! Kudos.
