If you're not paying for it you are the product being sold.
The photo version probably takes four or five times longer than stitching a video together I would say.
I read most everything posted. Never watch videos.. just saying.
Photos with captions take much longer.
I'm all for more content but personally, if it's a video, I don't watch it. I read and look at pictures. I'm also old and you can get off my lawn,
And that's why we do both. We have readers and watchers. Sadly, watchers vastly outnumber readers these days.
It's the photo sorting/editing that takes forever.

ML, count me as another vote for loving the picture version of Pit Bits. Best article about the races anywhere on the web every week, thanks for the hard work on that. Yes, I know you said you've been doing both awhile, just wanted to let you know that we do love the written version.
The video one is just quick to put together to give people some "pre-race vibes" and the first week we did it I actually only posted it on our YouTube and not on our homepage because I knew people would freak out.
The video Pit Bits has a blue theme on the thumbnail, and the photo one has the same look it always has. The easiest way to tell them apart.
I love doing the photo side, especially when I'm the one who is actually at the race to shoot it.
