What makes my side correct is accepting election results whether they win or lose. Until 2016, this meant I could analyze their policies and choose who I liked the best. I voted for Democrats and Republicans. Policy is out the window now. Only one side will accept results whether they win or lose. If POTUS 45 loses, he will say it’s rigged and call for violence. If the current VP wins, she will oversee the certification of her election loss and go on her way, despite, according to POTUS 45, having the sole ability as acting VP to throw out electoral votes if she loses and ensure she wins. I hope to one day get back to policy being the deciding factor.

I hate both parties. The Republicans would be great because of their constitutionality, belief in the rule of law, fact-based governance, etc. BUT: neo-theocracy, the desire to raid Social Security, some bigotry, etc. Yuck.
The Democrats are, at least on paper, more likely to be tolerant, supportive of equality, fair, etc. BUT: Their idealism leads toward a woke, socialist hellhole. Super Yuck!

Agreed. Someone put together a video comparing the Obama/Romney/McCain debates vs the Trump/Biden ones and my god what the hell happened. We have different ideas, and that used to be fine, there was still respect and class there. Now its all over the top, the other side is evil, and a vote for them is a vote for the end of the country as we know it. It started with Trump, but both sides are guilty of it.
