What are y’all paying for the 250s OTD? 3 dealers in my state asking $9600. Seems a little steep. Might wait til September.

I’m paying MSRP plus 600 freight and set up in PA for the WE. The base, I’d wait it out and get a better deal.

Good to know. Shops here want $1200 over msrp before ttl. Haven’t negotiated beyond the sales floor, but I’m not keen to with an opener like that. Probably going to wait til September. Based on the yen inflation I imagine OEMs will put discounts on soon.

Any word on when they are going to start showing up at dealers?

250s are readily available. 450s probably this month.

Talked to importer and Factory editions are coming late and limited numbers even they were waiting more on early shipment here in EU. Delay doenst bother many as we will have 5 month long winter break anyways.

250 WE should be September, but nothing confirmed yet from my dealer.

Got quoted $9600ish ( $8,299 + 600 mfg freight + 597 setup & assembly + 349 DOC fee) may wait for a deal, not exactly a MX bike economy. My 24 YZ is fine just wanna try the Honda and see if it’s worth switching back.

Does anyone know which parts will swap over on the 450?  I have a 2021 and am thinking about getting a ‘25 450.  I know the plastic won’t, at least the side panels and rear fender.  Will the seat, foot pegs, triple clamps, and wheels work?     What about the forks?  Did they change the actual air filter?

Wheels will work, but front wheel spacers might be different. Clamps will work. Seat will work. Pegs will work.

Filter is new.

Forks will work but don't. New forks have stiffer upper tubes to match new chassis. Stock triple clamps are also stiffer, at least the bottom clamp is.

Thanks ML.  I have Xtrigs on the ‘21 and FC did my forks and I really like them.

Twin Air has them for sale on their site. That's where I got mine, if you look back through this thread you will find the info.

Thanks guys. For some reason it wouldn't let me select 2025 model year for the 450. Now I see that it's the same as the 250.

I broke it in yesterday and the chassis feels slightly calmer than my '23 CRF450R, though I haven't ridden it very hard yet. Suspension needs to be stiffened up a little but it doesn't feel too far off in stock form. 180 lb vet B rider.

Curious what parts may swap from the last gen? Seat looks the same.

Seat, wheels, clamps, brakes, front forks, engine components...even exhausts. Although, I know that Yoshimura is already redesigning the 250 exhaust as they said the current one works, but with the intake and ECU changes, they think they can make something that'll work with the new setup better.

ML, so the forks work but not the shock then off the last gen? Also will they interchange, as in suspension from a 24 250 go on a 25 450?

Does the 250WE come with stiffer springs? Most of the reviews of the 250 say the suspension is a bit soft. I went up a rate front and rear on my 2024.

Picked up a 25 CRF450R on tues and had it's first ride last night at Supercoops in MI (deep sand). Maybe I drank a little too much kool-aid but I've been a Honda guy for the past 10 years and I'm in love with this thing.

Didn't always gel with my 22 but was starting to figure it out. Hopped on this thing and it feels like a similar bike yet much more natural to ride. The bike just reacts when you think about putting it somewhere. Much easier to ride. Trying not to get too excited over one ride but damn it was a good start.

Being excited about dirtbikes is 100% legal around these parts. Glad to hear you're enjoying your new scooter. I was a Honda guy for 15 years but went green in search of comfort and stability. Everything I've heard about the 25 has been positive so far. I really want to ride one.

Good to hear the reviews so far aren’t just fluff and bike is actually better. May need to snag one.

That's highway robbery. Don't get them your money. Certainly you can do way better than that.

Anyone go from a 23+ ktm to a 25 crf450r? I want to go back to a bike with spring forks and it’s between Honda and Yamaha for me.

We have a couple 2025 CRF250R's on sale for an out of state buyer, no loan, at $8798 OTD.  This is $100 less than Honda's MSRP, + destination, no prep, and documentation included.  We take trades if they are titled in your name.  We can finance if you are in TX, but then you have to add T, T,&L.  Jason at kentmotorsports.com.

Any luck  getting any WE 250’s or 450’s?

I got my wife a 25 250f for $8800 otd in Ca. She had a 2019 fc 250 prior. I’m absolutely horrible on 250f’s but this Honda was still a blast to ride. So much easier to go fast on than her husky for her. Much more responsive power with better roll on and mid power. She’s extremely stoked on it!

How’s the handling? I could never get comfortable on the prior gen chassis. Thinking bout switching from my 24 YZ.
