I just think it is as simple as McElrath is relatively speaking not a very good 450 rider. When everyone is healthy he is on average a 18-25th place rider in SX and 15-22th place rider outdoors. KTM, Suzuki, Kawasaki the bike does not matter.
Na dude. Shane would beat Mike b. I like brownie and his grit as much as anyone. We keep hearing him say he wants to try and be the oldest to qualify for a national.
He says that because he knows it will be tough and an event with a lot of guys trying it would be hard. He won't score points in my opinion even if he qualifies.
I say this as a couple years ago Mike was at lazy river at an llq and he finished about 3-4 in prosport class that day. One of the guys I know that ran him down and passed him tried to qualify at a national a few weeks later and did not make the fast 40. Shane's fast man. He beats brownie.
And all Bogle did was bitch about that HEP bike. Literally quit after Hangtown
Mathes just tweeted that Masterpool signed SX/MX deal with PC for 2 years. Great news for Ty

Hell yeah great news for TY and PC.
I assume that means Adams will be on a different color next year.
His 250 career was unremarkable. What did people expect? Levi is in the same trajectory imo.
Probably a mistake if they go that route.
Adams racing futures. By the time nationals come around injuries will open a spot for him outdoors.
That's what I think too.
Is Shimoda's contract up after next year? Honda will let Kawi foot the bill to get Adams some experience then swoop him up going into 2026 after they show Shimoda the door.
Shimoda has an option for 2026 that looks like it's already been activated or picked up. Shimoda is also looking at moving East to the Lawrence compound.
Honda has their 250 team set through 2026 with Hymas and Shimoda. They don't have the budget for a third guy.
Thanks for the info!
I hope that Jo can become more consistent with getting good results when he moves down there so we can have him as a championship contender and not just start getting warm at the end of a season.
A change from his nick wey program would be good for him.
Hey, ML: unrelated question, do we have a 2025 national number tracker yet? If not, can we start one?
Macro, Hammaker, and Forkner. One bike will probably be open before the east coast swing of supercross. In all seriousness, Kawi should know that Star will go after Adams and Adams should already have a 2 year deal with a option for a 3rd. RV, Stroupe, DeanO, Hill, AC, Forkner, and Marchbanks all came out of the amateurs with deals and now Kawi decides to start waiting.
Does anyone have any insight into if HEP will stay on Suzuki?
With BarX finally moving to a new manufacturer, it has me curious.
Pit Row
Suzuki and HEP extended their partnership a couple years ago through the 2025 season at least If I remember correctly.
What’s Bar x doing?
Yamaha
I heard they signed with Yamaha
#sorrylungbutter
That's correct. They're with Suzuki for at least one more year.

So... saw this; Ty Masterpool signing on to stay with Monster Energy / Pro Circuit / Kawasaki team for 2025.

So, where does that leave Drew Adams and Austin Forkner? Expanding to 6 riders for team, or will they have to look elsewhere for a ride in 2025.
I believe I saw Mav or someone else mention Adams will be doing Futures then outdoors after.
Is Bloss going to have a team mate at Beta next year? Seeing Bloss arm scars from a bike malfunction and the weird situation with Colt I don't think there would necessarily be a ton of interest.
Obviously you are going to have some issues trying to race with an all new everything and to be honest I think it would serve Beta best to just concentrate on one rider.
