Good win by Prado. Kind of pulling for him, even though Gajser will be tough to make up points on. Surprisingly, Herlings seems to be getting better and stronger each race.

It will be interesting to see how Prado fits on the Kawi. He looks right at home on the GG. The Kawi will be a bigger, possibly heavier bike, so hopefully it doesn't hinder him. The hope is that he can bring some much needed changes to it (slimmer lighter).

Aren't they all at the weight limit anyway?

A bit off race topic, but why is Lommel considered a great track while Pala is usually criticised for being flat with jumps on a piece of flat ground, isn't Lommel the same? To me Lommel looks even more boring, a dirt field within a logistics/industry area?

(btw, I have only visited Pala, not Lommel so no expert on the subject, just reading Vital)

the characteristics of the natural terrain makes it special......its not dirt, its sand, bottomless sand

there were other deep sand tracks in that area of europe but got closed.......Lierop and Valkenswaard were much better but Holland closed a lot of tracks, as did Belgium....so i would say that if Lommel is still open is because of being in a industrial zone in which many enterprises are in the motocross business.......this track is the training ground of most mxgp riders, its a stepping stone in becoming a top racer.......

Lierop was the OG sand track. really miss that track on the gp calendar.

That's a respectable ride by Lotte! Interesting to see 30+2 tomorrow and maybe when nerves are a bit settled.

He had a one year contract with a second year option.

You may be correct, but earlier in the year Hans Corvers said that Calvin has an option that kicks in if he is top 5 in points

Absolutely insane.
Her best laptime would have put her in the points in EMX250 in terms of laptimes. On a rougher track.

De Waal is on another level compared those other guys. If he could keep it on 2 wheels and get decent starts he could definitely win this race! He is been pretty solid this year!

Marcel and Robert should be able to get some good point IMO, but Robert also needs to stay on 2 wheels.

You’re at Arnhem this year?

Maybe.

Watching ticket prices - last year I booked 24 hours before I flew-  the price dropped 60 percent at the last minute.

Airfare is pricey now because of the Olympics.

Thank Rym, that is a interesting piece of info that I wasnt aware of.

Given Calvin's recent results and with Prado moving to the USA I wonder who will get Prado's GasGas ride?

The team will be back on KTM bikes. So we will have two Factory KTM teams next year. Maybe they will be the MX2 team and the other team MXGP?

Its a Pirer mobility group strategy for reconstruction in marketing and budget cuts. It’s a plan to market the ktm brand more as they are known as an off-road factory and don’t push 3 brands at the same time with basically the same bike.
