Wait until I show you the video of a 9-second Camaro getting its doors blown off by a dude on a nitrous-burning Go-Ped. 😁
Except my paycheck
True but at least you've got a nice additional tax exemption for '24

I will renew my Peacock membership at full price and like it. What is everyone crying about? $80 + taxes/fees to watch approximatley 90 main events/motos. That's nothing. Try finding a real problem to cry about.
As a consumer you have the power. Stop watching an unsub.
No revenue = Bankrupt
Problem is people complain about price increases and continue to pay for said luxuries instead of focusing on necessities.
To the one's complaining about the $2 per month increase:
Please list the accessories and mods you have done to your scooter including the cost. I will leave out the cost of gear because that's a necessity.
tia
Bring back mav tv!
If you have Xfinity then it is free through that.
Honestly, I'm pretty happy with Peacock this year. (My wife subscribes to it, because, well... it costs money, and she feels compelled to spend $ no matter what it is for. I mean, you can't NOT have every single streaming service known to man, can you? How would you know you're not missing something on TV?) Anyway, peacock comes to my home anyway, so I use it to watch SX and MX. Their coverage and connectivity has been better this year, too.
Essentially.
I'm diggin this whole fatherhood thing.
It's free with Instacart.... i know someone will bitch about instacart, but i love it.. and the free Peacock makes it worth it, imo.
Motocross and beer related*
Remember how cheap Amazon Prime was years ago? Same shit, different platform.
Although I disagree that it will eventually cost as much as cable did/does. I pay like $25 a month for multiple streaming platforms and when I get tired of watching whatever content is available on the ones I have, I cancel it and try another one for a couple months until I’ve watched what I wanted to on there. I’ll gladly take the couple of minutes to cancel and subscribe than paying for the ultra mega sports package $200+ a month cable package that makes you watch commercials every 5-10 minutes. Just because there are a ton of streaming apps, doesn’t mean you gotta subscribe to all of them!
I tried watching some TV at my parents the other weekend and forgot how miserable of an experience it is with the amount of commercials you get just to watch a 30 minute show.
If you only watch MX/SX it's a killer deal. I hope everybody subscibes so when it's time for MX Sports and Feld to renew with NBC, NBC offers them even more money
I remember when cable and Directv first came out it was cheap. Streaming will do the same but with far less picture quality.
Right.. but the point is we are PAYING and the product they put out is absolute shit. Guess we get what we pay for eh. The problem i see is the broadcast is so bad it SHOULD be free.
Pit Row
Still so much better than being forced to pay 50$ for NBC sports gold .... so do not miss that .
Man some of yall need to expand your horizons.
I dont mind this increase as it feels justified
Indycar, moto, some cool tv shows, nascar, golf.. even some wwe wrastling lol. Not including the olympics.
...but you'll spend $30+ at McDonalds for you and the family any given Sunday. I'll pay whatever (within reason) to keep watching live racing.
They could triple the price and it would still be a good deal. Between practice/race day live and the motos you get like 6 hours of content every week, thats like 200 hours a year...for fucking $8 a MONTH mao.
What planet do you guys live on where this is a problem? Its honestly probably the cheapest sport to watch if you breakdown the $/hour. I literally cannot think of one that would be cheaper. We should be sending thank you letters to Peacock HQ just for allowing our bumfuck sport to have such coverage.
I did take a stand. I missed every 1st moto of the year last year unless they put it on NBC. I didn't miss not watching my favorite sport one bit and just rode moto on Saturdays and caught the 2nd motos only for free when re-broadcast on CNBC.
The ONLY reason I have Peacock this year was to watch the KC Chiefs playoff game against Miami Dolphins and the discounted NFL package.
So even though for years I was able to tune in and watch outdoor nationals for free on the old 'Speed" network and then later on MAVTV, I wasn't going to pay to subscribe with Peacock. After my subscription runs out, I won't be renewing it just for moto. Possibly if the Chiefs are exclusively on. But I doubt it even then. Not worth the money to me. I'm lucky to watch 4-5 hours of anything on TV per week. Just too damn busy.
So, to your point, I already sent a message. I will send the message again. The NFL hooked me this one time. Not DC and Feld and their contracts. Sorry, not sorry
I guess it just depends on how important it is to you as a fan. I'm gone from my home 45 out of 52 Saturdays at least per year. I'm not sitting on the couch on Saturdays waiting to tune in. I rarely watch all the motos in their entirety. I never watch them live. It's typically mid week if I have time. So understand there are fans who ride on Saturdays. There are fans who have a life beyond sitting on the couch for 8 hours of programming. Your circumstances don't fit everyone elses circumstances. But thanks for telling us you have the time.
I have to follow social media and other sites like this to keep abreast. Peacock is NOT the end all, be all for all fans.
You all know that the huge $ Purse for SMX playoffs is directly related to NBC/Peacock? Consider the extra $2 as a donation to privateers
Or attend at least one race per year and give tons more than $2 fucking dollars
I've been lucky to time the lst 2 years on the $20 per year deal. Just change email addresses. I get moto and the wife gets reality TV. Winner, winner.
Great, then don’t watch. Those of us that actually want to watch the races and not rely on social media or whatever podcast to tell us what happened will do so and pay only $8 a month to do it.
These are the people that complain about $8 a month, while saying they used to watch it fOr fReE on a cable network they had to pay for
I wish there was a two tiered package. NBC for the cheap package, and MXGP-TV level for folks that want the raw content and no commercials. MXGP-TV is the gold standard for content anyways. Still primitive with no app compared to Peacock, but that's a nit.
Seeing the raw content on Peacock a little bit was like an addictive drug and I want more!
You can pay an extra $6/month to Peacock for ad-free.
