Im convinced 80% of the keyboard riders here like the robotic podium speeches. Makes them feel comfortable and safe.
alot of these old timers saying i love bob hannah statments are fake and they just want everybody to be nice and thank their sponsors.
now my question to all, is what’s acceptable and what’s offensive??
because for me give me the got damn battle talk, and raw emotion. I want no filters regardless of sponsors. And ill stand by that.
(before anybody mentions it, yes this is a thinly veild deegan post, but im also curious about past podium speechs that crossed the invisible line)

Oh the irony. The kid with millions of fans, who blindly defend him, mind you - is concerned with the haters? It's a manufactured thing and it's working. Pay attention to the substance, not the actual words, and you'll see it for what it is.

I use that part of the broadcast for restroom breaks or drink refills if I'm watching live and FF right through them if I have to watch a replay.

It was the Jett "drama" that taught me this community doesn't want personality like they claim they do.
Congratulations because jett turned himself into a robot and he did it for you, the same fans who cry when there's no personality in the sport.
They piled on Jett because he's so fucking good, and they couldn't deal with it. Jealousy is a nasty emotion after all. The fact that he's from Australia made it even worse for some of the Americans on here (you know who you are) but not all. As we all should know, every country, culture, group has a certain percentage of pig f##kers.
Who watches the podium interviews anyways.

Because Howerton ACTUALLY did something on the track. Deegan thinks Chance has one coming because he dabbed his foot in a slick high speed corner while he was IN FRONT of him? We are talking about different things.
It would be more Hannah-ish if HYMAS said something about Deegan has one coming for thinking THAT was a takeout.
Deegan has the potential to be a bit like Hannah, he's just really really bad at it so far.
Theres a way you can have a personality on the podium with out being a total douche bag and dissing other riders.
For Example when Ken won in Indy and brought his Kickstarter on the podium. I think everyone smiled when that happened.
My point is that we don’t like the robotic interviews but i certainly would rather have them than hearing him be a total dick head to the entire gate and then act like any incident can NEVER be his fault.
