I've just gotten tired of repeating the same complaints over and over again. It will never get better until someone fires Bondo and hires a person who has a clue about a motorsports production.
Weege and Stew don’t know a 2-1 wins the overall, regardless of where the 1st moto winner finishes.
No math required boys.
The whole Fred bit was utterly embarrassing for the sport. What a stupid story to bring into a professional race. Especially with having to apologize for it not having anything to do with racing before you even tell it.
As Stew said a few weeks ago, 5 out of 4 people are not good at math.👍

I've been very critical of them in the past, but I'm in agreement with you. There's better things to do on a summer Saturday than watch other guys race. I either watch in the evening or during the following week and skip most of the fluff between motos. The one thing I will say about MX vs. SX is at least there's ample downtime to stuff in their half-baked human interest stories.
If stew says something about the DANGERZONE one more time, I might lose my mind.
Please just stop saying it every moto and every time Deegan is near someone.
Weege screws up the math more often than not …. And he’s been doing this a long time . He’s good at the words , stay away from the numbers Weege.
I dont mind the danger zone. But if i have to hear "He lost the Tow" one more fucking time. Then when i think its gone you get Weege.. so James, even though you already explained it, can you tell us what you mean by losing the tow. FFS.
They find some random one liner and just beat it to death so bad it becomes annoying.
Finally watched High Point. Only thing I really noticed was one of the camera operators seemed drunk... Shit was all over the place.
Never thought id complain about Weege and JS but AC and JT had a better day than those two. I think JT stepped up his game with AC being a little competition for him. JS rambles on pretty monotoned but hes night and day better than RC and Weege needs to pay attention to what lap it is and whos a lapper and whos not ffs. Was not a good day for him but still love Weege over the rest.
I thought the broadcast was pretty good overall, AC provides a huge boost in both insight and personality. I really enjoyed the insight into Big James and his signs lol
The bad: Again they are overusing the drone cam and split screen. When the drone footage is zoomed way out on a 4 rider battle and none of the broadcasters can tell who is who, how are we supposed to know at home? There are multiple instances each week where Weege must be looking at timing and scoring which hasn't updated and he's calling riders names when the camera is showing a bike that is clearly a different manufacturer to the one of the rider he's screaming about (I think Marchbanks was an example at one point this week). I understand things are tough and fluid, but if we can see it, they should. A mistake here and there is no problem, but he's consistently wrong when they go to some of these shots that are hard to see (not 100% his fault).
Was there any mention of Webster running around in 7th in moto 2? I don't even know the guy's first name.
How about a good shot of the guys going over Larocco’s leap? Don’t zoom in on them, the close up shot doesn’t do it justice!
one of the most iconic jumps of the series and they are butchering the coverage of it. Racing has been good though! Rant over
Jett monologue and Johnny O interview during moto 1 ughhh… alright rant officially over
With them Bringing Will and Rc back... We are back to every gripe in this thread. No sense in saying it again. Total shit
Love the fact that I feel the need to watch my favorite national of the season on mute!
Yep. They absolutely ruin the race in some capacity. Im here to get excited and its mixed when im excited and at the same time like omg shut the fuck up.
My thoughts on todays coverage:
1. AC did better than ricky as a trackside reporter for one singular race than RC who’s been doing this for a while.
2. Bring back James and AC.
3. How many times does it need to be said that jett is injured, he’s the star of the sport, everyone and their mom knows that he’s hurt and out for the season.
4. Wish they showed a replay of whatever happened to haiden after the first stall that caused him to not gain any time.
5. Today was the closest i’ve ever been to muting the broadcast but I wanted to hear what was going on even though i didn’t want to listen to it.
6. I love the raw bike sound at some points during the moto's, sucks that nbc cable people are getting so many ads.
On to next week at millville.
Pit Row
RC can't string a sentence together, nor get words out of his mouth correctly. RC: "Justin Cooper is one of the smaller 450 riders out of the greep".
It must suck for Weege having to carry the blabbering, incoherent, redundant mess in the seat next to him.
When you zoom in on a rider, you lose perspective of the surroundings. Larocco’s leap becomes…..nothing special at all; like a still photo.
I’m not into photography or videography, but even my dumbass understands the advantage of perspective, especially in a sport like motocross.
Back TF up please.
It’s, it’s….
They need to start using this to keep Will’s story time to a minimum.
RC and James used to both get a lot of complaints. RC still gets the same complaints after doing this for how long? James has steadily improved and has much better chemistry with weege. AC adds to the broadcast while will distracts from it. The contrast between last week and this week was a little jarring.
Give the full time job to James and weege, ac and jt. Set it and forget it and let them grow into a one of those broadcast crews we reminisce about years later.
RC is horrible. Particularly bad today. Weege is the best hands down and it’s very apparent RC brings him down a bit. I think JT is on the same level as Weege. Those two in the booth with AC as the track reporter would make the best crew hands down.
I watched the race mostly on mute… about 70% of the time. It forces you to pay more attention, since they like the wide shots and it can be harder to read numbers. Seems like there were some technical issues with the leaderboard, or they just turned it off for minutes at a time.
The best part of the broadcast is the break from NBC.
RC just doing podcasts over and over and over …
I felt like I could breathe again and enjoy the race. As for Will, I've started yelling at the broadcast 'fuck off Will! and then promptly muting as soon as I hear someone say 'Will'.
Bingo. That would be the dream team.
Turn the bike sounds up a hair more, tell Weege and whom ever else is working along with him that some silence is ok. Missing key moments and not even mentioning them is inexcusable and again, they can make easy changes to smooth over the edges. Less fluff talk and pandering, and more grit and technical talk. That is what will create more interest if anybody outside of our world have a rats ass.
