For the people who say the x games are dead, I agree. There was a guy on FB yesterday with a good theory as to why. He blamed social media for ruining the x games, which at first I rolled my eyes about. But then he went on to explain how the x games used to be like x mas for fmx fans because we'd hear rumors of guys doing certain tricks, but we weren't really seeing clips or anything. So we'd tune in to see the first backflip, 360, double backflip etc. Now all that stuff gets posted to social media almost immediately, so there's not a lot of incentive for us to tune in.
As for father Hodges, he's always reminded me of an unmedicated child with ADHD. Always flappin his jaw and never really saying anything relevant, being super obnoxious, saying stupid edgy shit just to get under peoples skin. Then people just let it happen because of who it is.
I'd party with PH, he seems pretty rad. Raha seems like a punk and I don't like how he promotes riding dirt bikes on the streets, in cities etc. how's he any different than the wheelie boys?
If PH was trying to get under Raha's skin, I'm here for it.
Who is he exactly?
I think he's one of the founders of monster, but I'm not positive.

Tell me what the “M” in “FMX” stands for and then we’ll decide if this thread is moto-related.
Ah, struck a nerve with the tucked ears circus brigade.
Seems like your the one who had a nerve struck....you coulda just scrolled on by but instead you had to whine like a bitch.
The video was entertaining though, gotta give him that.
Struck no nerves, just thought I’d point out you’re an idiot
Supermoto has everything to be the perfect TV-sport but also spectator sport. If I understood the old-skool supermoto riders weren't happy with the evolution towards whoops, on-of table tops and other stuff... But those races in Reno, Copper Mountain Resort and others got spectators and I liked watching them! The X-Games went a little overboard the first years with the whoops and on-of-tables and stuff but still it was amazing! This video is from '09 when the track was pretty good.
I’m thinking he is no longer paid by husky, and was paid by stark.
I don’t believe PH has any ties to monster, other than his kids being associated with them
It probably had to do with the angle of the ramp, during practice they kept tweaking it. At the end of the day Colby and two others wanted to steepen it up but lost the vote and it got left as is. They probably would have gotten a little bit higher numbers but apparently a lot of them were landing really close to the knuckle when it was at a steeper angle and they decided it wasn't worth it. Tyler Bereman getting hurt during practice probably reinforced that seeing that he's one of the best in the competition.
no husky branding on the bike or helmet any longer. I assume he bought the stark, i could be wrong though. I know Patrick Evans is on the Stark Varg team and was flowed a bike.
I think the stark is heavier than gas bikes. If anything it’s an advantage in best whip and a disadvantage in quarter pipe.
It was 100% making it more than one round that ruined it.
When it was 1 round there was anticipation to see the next big trick, everyone would stay at home and watch with their buddies that day and witness history.
Multiple rounds made it so the performers didn't have to perform big 1 time only. They lost the clear definition of progression.
saw someone made this, its probably spot on..
