This wasn’t a best whip contest.

Although the best whip contest was won by an electric Stark bike. Patrick Evans used the Electric bike to his advantage with the way the bike reacts. It’s definitely a big advantage in best whip.
But I don’t see this bike being an advantage in the quarter pipe competition, imho.

whatever the case, complaining about a stark is not vibes.

Most people in the FMX world agree that Axel has more talent than the rest, he’s definitely special and that has been proven. Colby has proven to be better at the quarter pipe. But overall, Axel has undeniable next level talent on a dirt bike. Nobody even comes close to what he’s capable of.

I didn’t even realize the XGames was still a thing.

No joke, I didn't even know they still had it. A best trick video came up on my YouTube feed and I was like huh?

"Free riding" is gimicky bullcrap. Freddie Noren could do about the same or better.

I love it when the Forum Rent A Cops show up feelings hurt about a topic and cry about it being in the wrong spot.

How do you figure it's not an advantage?

Like in the sense that no one is maxing out a 450 on QP, much less a Stark? Or that the Stark power delivery would be no advantage over a 450 in this discipline?

I'm surely no expert on QP competition.  But why did Raha lose on the Stark then? When he's owned the contest on a gas bike

Well I assume it's because the other guy went higher.  I'd think that the Stark would seem to have an advantage, but since it seems like the limit is the human on the bike that the advantage is a wash.

Looks like the winner didn't go as high as Raha did in 2023, so perhaps the difference was in setup and conditions? I have to assume Raha wouldn't have taken the Stark if he thought he wouldn't go as high as he did last year.

I miss the Supermoto, but not the fuel stop, i was almost an alternate the first year it ran, but Kenny Bartram took the spot.  I am glad, i would have died.

Why does anyone care what Axell Hodges’s dad thinks? Is he in the industry somehow?

This is the point, no one does and he shouldn't be allowed to interfere in the middle of a competition.

He can't even ride a bike in a straight line without sending it into the ding weeds.

Phili is a character. He was just  having a little fun ribbing Colby about that E-Bike. Colby's comeback was funny offering up the bike.

Correct

… and Chris answered it best. If it was an advantage, why did he lose ? This is Colby’s specialty. They do not hit the quarter pipe ramp wide open, the 450 has plenty of power and the Stark is heavier.

Supermoto was the beginning of the end of Xgames...

This year seemed to be a step back in to what made Xgames great for milenials - a core, younger, LA Summer audience with just the 3 core disciplines, SKATE, BMX and MX.

Personally I don't think Best Trick should be a thing, It's just too dangerous and they should instead have 90-120 second runs back with the cool course designs.  But I think it's a cost thing and going to Stadiums is likely just too expensive and its not that special to see FMX live compared to the sick videos all over the internet.

The 3 core sports in xgames were skateboarding, bmx and roller blading aka fruit booting. MX came way later. Even skydiving and luge or however you spell it came before moto.

Look at Colby's body positioning at peak height. His helmet chinbar is about touching the front fender. He didn't look as comfortable on it as he does his gas bikes.

I saw it as he's looking to get the claim of being the first Stark rider getting a QP gold medal, similar to Patrick Evans taking gold in best whip on the Stark Varg.

yeah it was crazy how much forward he had to get to on the bike to get back downward. Maybe didn't make for the highest air but it sure looked cool.

Also, if you haven't seen Pat Evans tw o biggest whips on the stark, it's worth a watch.

Evans seems to be able to use the less engine gyro on the E bike to his advantage, but Rahas QP attempts looked really odd and it could be that the engine gyro of a regular bike suit that jump better.

I would like to see Evans whip on a 450 again just to see how much is the bike and how much is Evans elevating the game one more notch. Just like Bereman and Hodges did a couple of years ago.

I'm not about this modern freeride stuff, but they're ballsy muthafuckers... Raha looks like a badass on a BMX too which is always cool to see.

Anyway, saw a comment on MotoMemes IG and Raha replied with something about PH whining then stuck #PageantMom on the end... That's just plain funny 😂😂

Supermoto is the pickle ball of the moto world. Doesn't belong on TV and people shouldn't be forced to watch it.

If you look at his IG videos you can see the first Stark whip videos were instantly bigger than his last 450 videos.

I follow all his stuff and youtube clips, but i stand by that i would like to see him on a gas bike again for comparison.

Even on a gas bike before he went E i thought that he was the best whiper out there.
