Look, I was drunk and they were on sale and I can just run the plastic/no graphics and you can barely see the scratches if you squint a little bit while you look at it.
My friends Dad and I obsessed over this look on our Honda’s. He got to the point where he had them custom made by the hundreds and replaced it after every wash. Real OCD stuff but goddamn did his kids’ bikes look sick 😂

To me it is all about the 80's and stickers as in RM 80's and KX 80's. When 80's or 85's die the sport dies. When I started racing district and bigger races, there were always these kids that had stickers all over their bikes. I had none, just a plain RM 80 but I wanted them, badly. My Dad told me I can't run stickers if I wasn't sponsored by them and I can't get sponsored if I don't earn it. How do you do that? First you need to talk to them and let them know who you are. I was 11 and I had finished 3rd or 4th in the first moto at a district race. I walked over to the Scott awning and said my name is 11 year old FlickitFlat and I just finished 3rd in the 11-12 moto. Good job kid. I need a goggle sponsor I can't see out of these things and showed them my shitty off brand goggles, orie or something. Can you help me out? I think I can do better if I had a better pair of goggles. A second guy walks up smiling and asks what I want. I told him I'd like a pair of goggles and some stickers to put on my bike if you come watch my race. I didn't win or anything but after the race I got a second pair to practice in, the guys card some extra lenses and a stack of stickers. To me it was all about the stickers. I soon had BelRay, Dunlop and Gear Racewear and then I got on my local shops team and ran their stuff. But it was all about the stickers. I like graphics kits as much as the next fella but stickers were way cooler.
