Look at the bright side: at least they're giving The Crafty Frenchman and El Chupacabra a rest... for now.
But then again, they might just be in The Kitchen getting a Two for One on Donuts.
JETT THIS JETT THAT. There's 80 guys racing per outdoor race, pick another rider.
Didn't Tomac's dad used to be a jockey or skier or something?
Think he raced BMX
“I can’t reveal my sources.. but”
heard he went to camp woodward one time
I believe he was something of a ski jockey.
Yeah, that's it.
Downhill mountain bike racer
Hmm, no you might be thinking of someone different?
Google John Tomac, he has won more mountain bike races than anyone in the sport.....
I thought he got his fame & fortune from his unicycle days.
Close - from his unicorn days.
HIs unicycling days were during his time with the circus - not his finest hours.
I believe they have him confused with Tom Jomac.
It happens.
Pit Row
“They found something on the bike, but they wouldn’t say what”
It’s a damn dirt bike, not a pot of gold nor nuclear launch codes….Does Kawasaki really think by revealing they went to a softer shock that Star Yamaha is all the sudden going to gain a massive advantage?
That’s McGrath, that’s why he was so talented in SX. Had that MTB flow.
Jeremy was BMX 👑
Crazy how expensive these get!
"He was good all day"
"I felt good all day"
Never understand why this sport gives so much of a fuck about practice. Who cares if a guy qualifies 3rd if he goes 8-9 in the motos.
"We found something this week". Rider then does good only to be very average the next week. 🤔
Focusing on “stories” instead of the competition unfolding right in front of our eyes is due to an unfounded fear that the audience will get bored and tune out. It’s old school broadcasting think. Some might even call it journalism. But what we want, on race day, is competent COVERAGE. Save the stories for the podcasts after the race.
Gate position is key - then someone from way outside holeshots.
Unless it's baseball. Harry Carey, Bob Uecker, Phil Rizzuto and Vin Scully were often times more entertaining than the game! ⚾️
