Unfortunately I agree. Man I feel so bad for him but there is just no way he should race anymore in my opinion.

Man that crash in Arlington could have been so much worse with his condition. 

My nephew has it. 45 years old. He worked himself into high blood pressure which caused the headaches. He had a sharp enough doc that did a scan and found it. He is doing okay with high blood pressure meds and monitoring but his doc just wants to manage it.

That crash sounds more like a blessing in disguise. He had to get brain scans as a result of the crash, discovered a potentially fatal condition worsened and he was able to have it treated before it potentially killed him

That guy sure is dedicated. I was looking at the Pro Circuit wins recap and realized that he has the most wins of any non-champion PC rider. Most of his 8 (yes, 8) seasons with PC have ended in injury. Bad luck? I don't know, man. I sure hope he can put it all together and stay healthy. 

the guys saying to retire obviously didn’t watch the video at all. I would recommend watching it and pay close attention to the part where he discusses what it was, that he was born with it, that it’s a fairly common thing that is usually diagnosed after you have a stroke/aneurysm, and that one of the top neuro surgeons in the country the one that did the surgery said he can ride/race again after recovering. 

It’s up to him and decision only he can make!

Nothing more annoying than the "He needs to retire crowd" 

If anything needs to retire its you guys retiring your social media and vital accounts. Bunch of dudes telling someone to give up on their dreams. These guys are grown ass men and have worked their asses off and mentally come back from knarly injuries. If they want to die riding dirtbikes that would be their choice. That goes for any life threatening type job. You gonna tell a marine he needs to retire from fighting for his country if it means he might get injured or die? For some of these guys MX is life so quit telling them to quit.

Much bigger and better decision to fix it now. I lost one of my best friends in his 30's. Even if he decides his racing career is over he still is winning.

Austin has had this dangerous as all get-out brain “plumbing” issue his whole life and gotten this far…and he’s had it fixed…and the doctor said he’s good to go for 2025…

And…NOW he should quit? 

So…uh, yeah…no…what am I not getting? 

As someone who has had a stroke, they are not to be fucked with. Glad they were able to take care of the condition and hoping we see him healthy and fast next year.

I d be irked that surgeon used staples to close that up. Staples hurt if you lean against them... I've had them a few times and I just say NO!  

And there's always that last staple that's a bearcat to get out...

I think Austin should write a book on overcoming adversity and keeping a positive outlook.
