This early prototype has many innovations that never made it onto the production bikes, mainly due to cost restrictions. Due to unfortunate circumstances this one off rare piece of moto history is going up for bid. Triumph spent years developing the best handling chassis in motocross, this was done through lots of trial and error. This early version will be a welcome addition to any serious collector's collection. This model has many features 

*Extended wheelbase keeps the bike from wheelieing for better starts and high speed stability.

*The handlebar mounted oversized radiator vastly improves cornering by allow the bike to be leaned over and weight the front tire for maximum grip with minimal effort. The idea isn't new, Yamaha tried it in the late 70's/early 80's but the true potential of the design was never reached. Until now.  Triumph calls it LTGT steering, Look There, Go There. You don't even have to think. Turning this bike is effortless. You'll be carving the inside line like Cooper Webb on your first ride. In this configuration they recommend running 0.07 psi in the tires to create a larger contact patch. This bike feels like it has velcro tires, traction is unapparelled.

*Reverse angle shock. Similar to the 70's secret of laying down the rear shocks, but different. Another modern take on an old idea reminds us that this bike was designed by tried and true motocross professionals. These guys have put in the time and know what works.

*The rear mounted undersized footpegs not only makes the tallest of riders lean forward into the proper attack position, it forces the rider to grip the bike with his legs thereby reducing arm pump.

I do see a use for this…every time I feel my suspension or handling is lacking on a new bike, I could take a lap on this. My new bike would feel perfect and save me thousands in suspension…

That keefer guy could probably get this dialed in with some free products and backing off the engine mount bolts a few lbs…

I also like how some folks lock wire their exhaust mount bolts, this guy uses lock wire instead of exhaust mount bolts.

It appears the front and possibly the rear brake are both at the right handlebar grip. Ingenious. I'm guessing it comes in around 200 lbs dry too. Crafty.

I sent him a message. 

Both of 'em. The flex characteristics of the formerly rigid Honda frame have been solved by twin Chinesium 10mm box-end wrenches for better vibration absorption. It works so well, you don't even need a silencer on the end of that PC pipe. 

It also apparently has internal brake line routing to the rear leading to a hidden brake caliper.

I must live right next to this guy. I should go check it out.
