In case you haven’t seen it…Enjoyed this sit down with DC. Interesting what had to happen when their Dad died. Touched on quite a bit here…past present and future.

His version of events regarding the NPG was different from what I remember.   Very different frlm the way the Glen Helen camp described things

When it works out with 11 people and not 1 I tend to believe the majority over the 1. Not always the case obviously.

I believe DC to be a good man. That doesn’t mean I agree with 100% of his business decisions but I still think he has good character.

He was called the Octopus by TFS for a reason.

How many people go to or participate in his events that pay in cash? Taxless, unreportable. Rather him have it him then the government, but none the less, unreportable. Same goes for college football, fast food companies, etc., lots of stories of tables filled with cash after Penn State games around here.

Yeah a lot of tracks around here are “cash only”. Wonder why that is with the CC culture we live in 🤔

It was a joke poking fun at people that are still sour about the 2022 streaming debacle. Never been to a GNCC but yeah they sound very popular!

Of course that is not what anyone means, that's great what they do. One could certainly have a concern over the Coomb's influence on the sport, Mini racing, pro-outdoors, every avenue of media, GNCC, perhaps it is approaching undue influence by one family? No southeast outdoor races, no Glen Helen, no USGPs, the lack of success of amateurs transitioning to pro racing, the dated homologation and production rules, cookie cutter track prep, lack of outside sponsors save for energy drinks, small purses, there are many controversial topics in our sport that perhaps the Coomb's family should/could or help to address.

It’s a business. Your sport is business to many. He’s running a business in a sport he has passion for. I hope he and his family make as much money from the sport as possible.

Facts. And I believe Visa, Mastercard, AMEX etc all charge businesses (a lot) to “accept” their cards. Separate from the processing fee. It’s nuts.

Launching CC companies into the sun would do a lot to help the world IMO

You know what I got out of the video?..

He is amazing with people, names, events and memories (I always knew that because he always says my name when we see each other) but man, he can tell some stories and remember everyone involved. Insane.

who'se making him out a saint?   the guy has taken on a role in his family's business.   a family that looked around and found a way to earn a living.  a living earned by providing a value product to a customer base.   the guy loves moto, thank god our sport has people in the promotions that do.

nothing and no one is perfect, everyone can be second guessed.  there are no solutions, only trade-offs.   if all the negative nancies think they can do it better, they have every right to try.    but, guess what, it may take work, not just complaining in comments on the interwebs.

Never did I say anything was Saint Dave's fault, I stated he and his family has influence, lots of it in some cases.  Certainly more than most of us. They could "help" was what I stated. And the principles who make decisions he or his group can not make, he and his groups certainly have an audience with. The effort some people go to misinterpret statements in an attempt to argue and bicker with strangers on the internet is disturbing.

I think it was Guy Cooper that wanted a sanction to hold a race and was denied by Coombs group. He talks about it in his Whiskey Throttle episode. He is pretty harsh about it. I apologize if it it isn't Cooper but Whiskey Throttle is where I heard the slam on him.

I don't know Davey personally but have traded 100's of emails with him over the sport. His knowledge and unbelievable memory is pretty impressive, his work ethic (actually his whole family) is equally impressive. They are very hard workers.

I would much rather the profits from this sport go to someone that has been there from the beginning, not some corporate entity that is a soulless profit first business. They make money, Yes, but that's because they work hard. We should be lucky to have him, he is a fellow Moto brother.

99% of that is not DC’s fault nor his problem he need to fix.

DC’s job is to make money for his companies not to solve the sports problems. I love capitalism at all times not just when it benefits me.

its a free country. anyone is free to start a better national and take everyones money.

his dad started one that turned out to be incrediby great idea and done very well (i was there). dc was there from the start. and put in a TON and i mean a ton of blood sweat and tears. hes done incredible  with it over the years and grew it to amazing proportions. kudos to dc and deserves whatever he reaps from all of it IMO. the fact hes survived all these haters and guys being critical and or jealous of it all is the best part.
