I had to google glazing as a slang.

'Glazing' has now trickled over from the Twitch stream chats and into the TIkTok comments, but what does it mean? To 'glaze' someone would mean to over-praise and over-compliment them, similar to – as Urban Dictionary puts it – 'dickriding' and being a 'kiss-ass'.

Do other sports not give preferential coverage to their top star? It's interesting how stardom in this sport can tick certain fans off, and maybe more now than ever. I guess people hated on Rick Johnson back in '88 but I don't recall it and there wasn't social media. Perhaps they did the same for McGrath as well, but I don't recall that either. IMHO we couldn't have gotten better than with The Lawrences and I think they deserve every second of coverage they get. They have elevated the excitement levels around the sport because yes they are that good. They're also extremely poised and look the part. I don't see any issue at all. 

Fan or not a fan, it is a slap in the face to the 40 guys actively racing to cut away to show someone standing in the pits.. If they were showing some drama in the pits then maaaaaybe but just standing and getting dressed? No. Show the race and only the race. 

I agree with the first part, but Jett wasn't tripling up and doubling off. He jumped to the very top and even bouncing off the top he definitely pulled on the other guys doing it. Never saw or heard of anyone else doing it. Why Chase didn't pick up on it was a bit surprising to me, but at the same time he probably didn't see it being worth it. I saw Jett get funky off of it a few times which could have eventually ended bad. 

I agree, it's like they are trying to prove he's so good. It's obvious that he is the best dude out there, you don't need to tell us over and over

He might be just as annoyed with it as everyone else. 

“They” have done this throughout the years though, if you go back through recent history ( since the TV era ) and look. They latch on to one guy, decide he’s going to be “the story” then completely over expose that rider.

It comes across as very amateurish but there we go… 

I’m over it as well, it seems a bit much.

But at the same time, a part of me gets it. I mean dude has won however many of the last championships he has entered straight. He also has yet to lose a 450mx race. So in one way I get it, even though it gets old lol.

If MC, RC, or JS was in this era, they'd get the same damn treatment. For a guy to go 24-0 currently in this world of social media and everything that comes with the media is to be expected. Social media wasn't around as prevalent as it is today and Jett is going to get a lot of exposure. Same reason Deegan gets a lot of exposure. It's about money and attracting viewers to the sport.

I don't like all the Jett talk either, but if you're in a business, it's about making money more often than not. Hyping up a guy that is doing what Jett is doing fuels that money train.

I can't get enough of that Jettson stuff.  

The next few years are going to rough for some of y'all.

You've been in denial for a while now, but reality is finally setting in that he's the real deal, you wouldn't care if they did this for an American rider oh wait they did, Stewart and Carmichael had the same treatment and rightfully so.

Stewart was constantly interviewed post race if he didn't podium.

Deegan gets massive amount of airtime too.
