I’m not buying anything anytime soon, already have a 24 300 RX I bought back in Sept. With that said I’d really like to throw money at a 24 KX450. With the current rebates it’s a deal in this day and time. I’m not a 450 guy but KX sure looks likes like an easy bike for an old guy to ride around the track in 2nd and 3rd gear. Like I’ve posted before……I’d miss my wife. Besides used prices kinda corrected themselves from Covid. I’d take a beating on my 23 Honda. I think finally got the stink bug out of that dang Honda, might as well ride it. My Beta is a hoot on the single loop trail at 3 palms so I’m good. When you retire you have way to much time to read shootouts and social media about MX bikes! Makes ya want one of everything and not just dirt bikes, bass boats, guns tools you name it.
I’m kinda waiting to see if Beta will come out with a 250 RX 4 stroke someday. I like the steel frame Beta’s. So I’m good for a while unless I run across a screamin deal. I’m only good for one or two more new scooters before my age catches up with me, if it already hasn’t lol.

Waiting until this time next year for the Kawi 450.ill let them figure the air box and JB weld frame issues out.
On the list for a 25 SX350 but not sure I’ll pull the trigger when I get the call. Won’t make me faster than on my 23 MC350 and honestly in this economy that money might sorely be needed elsewhere. Inflation is out of control and my family can’t eat a shiny new dirt bike.

I was going to wait till 25 for the kx450 but the rebate plus 1.95 financing deal was too much to pass up. Air box wasn’t near as janky as I thought it would be. Reminds me of my 15 ktm 350 air box.
I'm buying a new truck soon. A bike may have to wait. At least until later in the year when the last of the 2024's need to be dumped. And wwwdiii, we all know how subjective a "screaming deal" can be. And how easy it is to justify it if you keep trying hard enough.

Being a recent retiree myself i’m firmly in the phase of my life that I know I can’t take it with me so I may as well use it while I can enjoy it! 😂
I think there will be a lot of waiting till next year from many of us for various reasons if I had to guess.
How long until Honda and Yamaha offer some legit rebates, so far team Austria, kawi and Suzuki have.

I’m seriously considering picking up a Beta 300RX this weekend. I was going back and forth between that, a Beta 300 rr Race edition and a YZ450FX. Being a two stroke guy all my life the 300 tugs on the heart strings 😂 and I figured the RX would be better suited than the RR for my area and riding style.
I'm probably going to get a new 125 soon. Either another YZ125X or possibly a KTM 125xc - keeping my current YZ for my son to ride. I've been loving everything about my YZ but have always wanted a KTM. Luckily, I have excellent dealers for both within 1/2 hour from home.........
I got my RX, maybe should have waited. Will ride it until the Ducati or Tomasin T500 late fall/early winter
I bought a 300 RX back in the fall. It’s a Swiss Army knife kinda bike. Big tank, 6 speed but at home on the track. beta makes a fine scooter. They are not cheap but Beta fees are less than most brands. If you are a 2 stroke guy buy one.

Im hoping Kawi releases a 25' SR and if they do I'll get a new one. The 23' SR is an amazing machine.
I'm waiting. I was very tempted to buy a new Kawasaki but the prices keep going lower on other brands as well and I don't see the market changing anytime soon. There will still be deals on 2025 models.
Hell, my youngest has bought a 350sx and now a 300sx within 4-5 months of each other!

Yeah the market should get more competitive all around if I had to guess too. You would think a guy could get a deal later in the year on a left over 24. Might not be many 24 KX’s left over lol!
I am due for one this year but may just wait until the 26's. My 23 which would normally be coming up on 150-175 hours is only at 80 due to a serious illness last season and I am not riding as much as I used to.
My 21.5 450 SX-F only has 47hrs on it. Add to that the fact that it’s completely dialed, and I haven’t heard anything to indicate the newer frame is sorted to the extent mine was, and I’m hanging onto mine for the foreseeable future.
Did your fracture show up on the Xrays ?
Same, have a 20 350 XCF that I have dialed. Don't see any reason to start over.
Although, I'm hoping someone imports TM's for 2025. Would love a 300 2 stroke!
yeah i don’t mess around when i do something i do it right! I did my right one in 2000 and it was a bastard to heal like this one was!
This was last week at my final check up… it will continue to heal more but the surgeon said it’s stronger now than the day i broke it!
