I would highly recommend getting an APEX head for the bike. They run so much better with the proper squish band. Stock head is way off. With the squish corrected this jetting chart is pretty spot on.

The bike is going to be rich at 6k. standard main is around 180, drop to 170 or leaner and drop needle at least a clip to get running well. you're just gonna have to deal with getting fat at higher elevation. if you're going higher expect to work on it on the trail

On my 21 YZ250X I installed a Lectron. Sea level to 6000 ft and no change. If you need to make a change have the needle tool in your waist bag, pop the slide and make a 1/4 to ?? turn and you're good again. I have that carb on my 134, 125X and my shifter kart and not very often do I need to make any changes😀

If you want linkage then maybe Husky or Beta 300?

100% this ^^^^^^ I have a 21' Beta 300RX and absolutely love it. I ride moto, desert, hard enduro, GP, XC, and I've raced it at endurance night racing events. Most fun I've in dirt bike gear in a long time!! I like the Betas so much I just got the 24' 450RX about 2 months ago now. I still ride my 300 more than the 450 though!

I bought a 300 RX back in the fall. It’s a Swiss Army knife kinda bike. Big tank, 6 speed but at home on the track. beta makes a fine scooter. They are not cheap but Beta fees are less than most brands. If you are a 2 stroke guy buy one.

Ok I'm finally starting to get wore down by the Jett stuff on the broadcast. Did we need a Lars interview cause he crashed and had a come back ride? He's making a lot of the same mistakes he made on a 250 his first couple years too

Just have to start living with the fact that the usa is no longer the leader in the world at most things. Probably 20-50th in education, 50th plus in life expectancy and worse in quality of life. Our schools are a real mess, and even when you walk on the streets in the usa you can immediately notice how filthy it is compared to europe. Truth be told america has a lot of soul searching to do and the disappointment at mxon is just ripple effects of a sad and decayed culture
