Yeah it was something like that or I was thinking it may have even been they didn’t want him to be running a competing helmet cam when GoPro was sponsoring the series, I forget exactly. It was dumb but that didn’t outlaw helmet cams. Brian’s crash was in the 2020 SX season and in 2021, there was a new rule added to ama rule book that said you couldn’t attach anything to the outside of your helmet (GoPro/litpro/etc). Deano has been uploading GoPro footage this year but it’s mounted to his chest.
