The 70's was my favorite era for moto. I remembered it happened to Mike Bell so I just did the GOOGLE thing and it popped up 🙂

Off topic but can they bring back loader whoops?? Big and round = more safe than pointy!! When some of the best whoop guys in the history of the sport like Reed and Stew say it than maybe they should listen.

Not disagreeing with you about bringing back loader whoops, but I don’t think they would have saved Kenny. That was a major fluke.

I can’t believe he’s ok.

We need a leaked photo of that blown shock 😳

Kenny’s talent is blatantly evident even when he crashes. That bike was like a buckin bull and he wrangled that thing with finesse and amazing balance. He just casually stepped off it just in time, making his impact with the ground much less severe than it could have been. Any mortal rider would have been doing the old flying W and then lawn darted into the ground with their head. Good job Roczen!

That 2006 RMZ has been causing a lot of problems lately.

Suzuki confirmed that a rock hit the tire and let some air out. The white smoke was merely the baby powder they put inside the tire when installing the tube… nothing else to see here… damn these damn rocks.

I'm not a professional dirt bike mechanic, but like....did they put 17 bottles of baby powder in that tire? Lol

Larry McReynolds of NASCAR fame would call it "blowed up" 😉

I was more trying to say that was when Dungey first tried the air shock but it went down on the line haha Don't think he tried it again

It was last year, landed off a triple and KERBLOOIE. It was also a HEP Suzuki. They may want to have a talk with whoever builds their shocks after this.

Scary stuff. That’s what sucks about this sport. That happens in other motor sports and your vehicle just comes to a stop. With ours, the athlete is very likely to be injured.

That was rowdy. Props on the bail, though. Could you imagine hitting a set of whoops with no damping on your shock? Name a worse scenario lmao. He got off pretty easy given the circumstances

Isn't that 1982 though? Bell was #5 in '82

Definitely stressed something.

Definitely stressed something.

I remember back in 2019 when Axell Hodges was doing that long jump thing he OJ'd it and his toes were touching his shin.  I think kenny just jacked up his knee, where was it when he jammed it not too long ago?

This photo makes me think three things.

1)  That was a brutal and scary get-off.
2) It looks like Kenny hit an IED or a land mine.
3) It's impressive how riders can keep their feet underneath them and land on their feet to protect their body.

I really enjoy watching Kenny ride.  Hope he's ok for the next race.

So far we’ve had a now deleted thread about how Jett should be penalized for passing on yellow (perfectly legal), and another about McAdoo being a pussy for pulling off (he’s not), and you managed to out-stupid both of them with this one comment. Congratulations, your parents should be proud…

Happy that my boy‘s okay! I immediately screamed: get off this f..kin vintage bike! But then quickly realized that his shock blew up. Man, this triple before the whoops was a thing of beauty, but a big hit to take. Obviously not as smooth as the top guys made it look..

Heal up Kenny!

Freaking cowboy Kenny in the whoops. Can’t believe he’s ok. Talk about some quick reaction time.

Kenny’s speed was insane in those first few laps. That shock would probably last us weekend warriors a lifetime. Just shows how hard these guys are going.

Great news that he's banged up but ok. Hopefully, an MRI also shows everything is (-).
