How about $120 ?

Come on it's the race of the century , Century is 100 right

100 bucks to stand in an over flowing shitter just to piss after standing in line for 20 minutes.

I can't wait.

the MXdN at Thunder Valley this year is $90 a ticket. What's the difference between the porta cans at GH and TV?

if it's like Buds Creek it will be bad because they don't want shitters anywhere the TV camera will pan.

As a photographer, I'm down with that.

Personally, my "genius" idea, which hasn't been picked up for some reason, is that they need to make the equivalent of hay bay covers for porta cans.

There's nothing worse that porta cans screwing your background up.

$100?

Tickets are only $20 each or 2 for $30!

I'm confused...

Does that include my plane fare, 3 nights hotel, breakfast, lunch, dinner, beer, rental car, gas, parking and time off work? If so, I AM IN!
I think if the event is free, it is still not possible for many people.
If the ticket price is stopping you, than you could not afford to go in the first place. I am saving right now myself.
You can drop a $100 at the beer stand, but I am not going to accuse the guy pouring my drafts that he is a thief.

FTE, didn't they have giant Yamaha decals or something like that on a few portacans at GH a few years back?

The des Nations at Budds, I left the house with $1,000.00.

Got home 4 days later with about 50 bucks.

To be able to hit 2 big races like that in one trip, get off the can, get the money however,

it's worth every bit of it.

I've always wondered that about the porta-poopers. There's a lot of advertising square footage.

Would you put you company logo on one?

I can hear the talk in the Johnnie Quick lines now.

I would do it ONLY IF I received assurances that a portion of my advertising money went towards there being an attendant at each bank of portacans to keep them clean.

I would do it under those conditions

Damn, 70 bucks a ticket??? 280 for 4 tickest plus camping spots at 50 each??? Holy shiat!!! That's a hell alot of money in a bad economy to ask people to pay to watch a race that really means nothing in the U.S. Guess were going camping that weekend, just not at Glen Helen...

If I don't already have something else scheduled I will be there. We don’t get a chance like this very often.

I know people are complaining about me complaining but I'm bringing a valid point here.

Someone is going to pay for this and it won't be Youthstream or Glen Helen.

$120? or even $100, really? You think?
And I don't know what you are talking about--I just go for a little walk and find a bush... Shocked

That sounds more like the situation at a SX race...stand in line for 12 minutes to piss out the beer I just paid 12 dollars for....

The high entry is the reason I cant go, I have 5 kids and a wife. That's a mortgage payment for me. There's no way. It's like paying spectator entry fee at any track on race day. The spectator chooses to stay home most the time. If they let them in, they would make more back on vending alone that day, and also get repeat and even participants out of it. But it's there business, not us poor peoples.

I paid $80 bux for my A3 ticket. Then another $20 for parking. And I complained (but no one listened).

I would balk at a $100 one-day GH GP ticket. $40-60 I would pay no problem.

I can see a family situation really makes it extremely expensive. If you go with a buddy you catch hell from the whole family. If you take one or two kids, it is still expensive, and the other part of the family will never let you hear the end of it. Too expensive for everybody in the family to go. Looks like Freecaster on the couch with a cold beverage.

If I want to watch riders with the talent level of the GP riders I'll pay $10 to watch the local B class.
