I would like a white frame .  That Navy blue frame, gray plastic with a seat cover that is a different shade of gray and than some yellow thrown in. Too many colors mixed together in my opinion.   The Heritage bikes with the white frames look so nice and clean.

It will be interesting to see if they continue to have one design team do the color scheme for the frame while another unrelated and isolated team does the color scheme for the plastics.

Edit: Sasquatch too quick for Ape

Late to the party or not, that was an interesting, and likely accurate, description of Husky's design process.

I was under the assumption they started with the same ol' blue frame and then picked the plastics/graphics colour out of a hat.

This gives me a lot to think about. Hopefully they can have a little re-think as well and spring for some white powder coat.

This is what a Husqvarna should look like.

It is in the LL supplemental rules. It has been forever.

2. Electric motorcycles are only permitted in the Mini-E class.

I thought maybe they had ordered a lot of the Blue powder coat  .  And they are just trying to use it all up.  If they had some navy instead of gray , or instead of the yellow. But its so many colors.

If they pass AMA/MXSports  homologation and are available to purchase through dealers seems like they would be legal to race.

2025 Homologation doesn't factor into the 2024 LL supplemental rules. 2025 units are not legal in any 2024 LL class

I had a meeting at Husqvarna headquarters in CA about KTM/Husqvarna branding our hoses for them and the blue hoses would have to match their blue color tone.

The factory edition 2024 models are legal.

Do you think the 2017 design team got sacked for being too good at their jobs?

For 2024 they should have been lazy and used the plastics and seat from the enduro models.

I just don't understand how they came up with the MX bike colors. I do have customers who like the gray. and yellow. But almost every customer of mine has said they don't like the Blue frames with the gray.  I like the looks of the enduro bikes better than the MX bikes. The blue makes sense on them. I understand why they want to use blue on the bikes. That is Huskies color. The navy blue. But  either use it more like they do on the enduro bikes. Or change it.

Right now the MX bikes have the put together with spare parts feel to them.  I am being a bit harsh, and they can be really nice looking bikes. It just seems like they are trying to make them not look as good so they sell more KTM and Gasgas MX models.

Laughed when they did the reviews on the looks of the 2023.  Go to 5+40.

This was my comment “Don hesitantly asks…”Obviously an all new color scheme….what are your thoughts?.”  Sirancha…”It looks super cool…Kiska…put a lot of effort into this”.   Uh…okay…..Hey…let’s put a Flo yellow H on the side of plain grey.   That’s a lot of effort???  I just bought this bike and I LOVE it so far….but it is so plain I would call it sort of ugly.  It has not grown on me and I like the looks less every time I walk out in the garage.  One of the first things I did after riding it was order a complete decal set to make it look much better.  The second was buy a seat cover that actually has some grip and was not the same plain grey.  Awesome bike!!  Husky…fire Kiska from doing your designs….and everyone that thinks it looks good.  This must be one of those hirings that was not the most qualified but was….”

If it is still Kiska doing the colors/graphics then you can bet they will be ugly.  Buy a decal set.

….btw Husky…..When your own factory team completely changes the looks of the bike…well….they thought it was too ugly to race too.  Love the bike though!

I'm surprised how hung up folks get on stock colors. This is one of amazing things about dirt bikes, you can change the color and look of the bike completely for very little money. I would never not buy a bike because of the stock colors.

That was my point.  Love the bike but it was ugly stock.  Plastic was impossible to get at the time but I bought a new decal kit.  Bike looks much better.

While I do generally agree with your point that most people throw different plastic and graphics on, some people don’t.  Like  someone dressed in black shoes, navy blue socks, white shorts, a grey and yellow shirt with a different shade of grey hat.  You’d think they were born colorblind. And yes I owned these bikes. The blue frame was tough to get certain plastic colors to jive with. My 18 with that white frame was cooler.
