Ferry is supercross only, so of course he is looking for a ride.

Also, him and Jalek were good friends, I thought they still were, who knows

Was his contract really supercross only? That's almost impossible to believe. Why would Triumph want to sign an amateur to a supercross only deal, and why would said amateur interrupt his last year of amateur racing to test a bike he can't race just to only end up with a 9 race supercross only deal? Head scratcher . . .

I’m guessing it was a gesture to give him an opportunity to show his worth.

Also, they were talking to Joey who’s eligibility for 250 SX was a problem.

Florida connections run deep. I bet he’s on an HBI bike for outdoors.

The Portland OR Dealer will have  250-X at the One Show this week and weekend and is taking it to Thursday Night MX at PIR this week. 4 bikes are do here in 2 weeks or so....

Triumph are kicking goals in MXGP MX2, two bike always in the top 10, pretty good I reckon.

Super shocked if true him and jalek are having trouble. Jalek at least appeared to really care for the family.

Agreed. Granted none of us know the whole story, but on the surface with him going from Husky support, to Yamaha support, to Triumph and now out at Triumph, all in the span of a year tells me something about the kid and or his circle of people just doesn't jive with these teams.

Exactly, none of you know the whole story or really anything at all, but why not tee Ferry up for some bashing today..Blink

I'm glad they're finally rolling it out. It was supposed to be two weeks ago

Ferry should stick to IG posts. Last name can only carry you so far.

So since he got a moto win and an overall he should automatically be on a factory team? Combine that with his 2nd in Arlington 3 years ago and he has a whopping 2 podiums total. And this is his 5th year as a pro on a factory team..

Not sure what your criteria is either bud..

Ferry hasn't even had a top 5 in futures.

Swoll has proven he has professional race winning speed, super likable, young….Why would he not get a chance?

Ferry should be in futures. The whole Ferry signing seemed odd to me. Lot of better talent out there for a debut ride.

Show me the privateers winning an overall and beating Jett and Justin Cooper in the last 3-4 years.

I’m agreeing that swoll deserves the ride. Not sure why the other guy disagrees with that, but is on board with ferry getting a ride with zero results to back it.

Isn't the reason being that Tim Ferry and RC4 are buddies? Same reason Joey S. got the deal? Being Ricky's bud can pay off sometimes you know.

When did I ever say I was onboard with Ferry? I don't think either of them deserve it...

The team needed some solid riders to help develop the bike.  A top level rider likely would not take that risk and it saved Triumph a pile of cash starting "small".  Once the bike and team develops solid credibility, they will go after a winning capable rider.

Triumph will never win a race.    Laughing

(Too soon?)

First year teething problems....     Sounds to me like a Ferry issue.

Proven race winning speed is gonna get you a factory ride for a long time in that class.

And then there’s the probability that everything is going as planned. You know, Occum’s razor.

Who would be a better fit than Swoll for a first-year team? Given his up-and-down results, I imagine they got him at a decent price also.

To be honest i dont remember Ferry winning as an amateur muchless the futures ..Getting slammed in the wall the way he did in his first ever start probably scared the crap out of him cuz he hasnt raced since .and i dont believe hes hurt

Sounds like Ferry and Swoll do not get along at all and the race team is not running all that well. Parts issues, staff issues......etc.

Wonder where Lil Red Dog will end up?

Care to elaborate more on the staff issues? Lil red dog going to end up without a ride and another amateur kid with a failed career.
