Those things scare me. Pulled an all nighter with 500thong-girl out in the dez.

Some guy shows up with a Banshee and offered a "test ride"

I lasted about a fifty yards then when I went to turn & it spit me off like a Ragdoll!

Good thing I had my helmet on as the thing landed on my head and gouged my helmet.

Never again at least not WFO!!!! lol

For those of you that don't know Jay personally - just want to vouch for him and

say that I don't always agree with him, but he's one HELL of a good dude.

The kind of guy that will do anything he can for folks.

Sure, he's opinionated. That's what these "internets" were built for..

Known him for a few years and he's just a truly wonderful guy.

And I do think Hanny could've give ol' Homeless Helen some goggles.

Sayin'.

Its a good thing to help people out, its an even better thing to do it when no one is watching or taking pictures. Looks like he gave her his gloves as well, someone may have already mentioned that but Im not reading through 4 pages of peoples gripes about someones good deed. Atleast he did something good for someone who is need irregardless of his publishing it on twitter.

Isn't Josh 26 or 27 years old? When can we stop referring to some of these guys as "kids"?

Justin Barcia, Dean Wilson, etc. = Kids

Josh Hansen, Jason Lawrence, etc. = not kids

Only my opinion, of course.Wink

Looks like she could have used a meal over a jersey. If he really wanted to help he could have given her some food, etc.... Not a damn jersey! He was having fun with her, and if you don't see it you are blind. Ask yourself this, What could I do to help a homeless person? Was give an old motocross jersey anyone's answer? Didn't think so!

I saw an "urban outdoorsman" rocking his Darryl Hurley jersey quite proudly walking around town today. So I believe that question is dependent on who you ask. Sometimes lifting someone's spirit is better than a meal. Were you there? Do you know what his intentions were?

After all the silly talk...hopefully, we can all learn something from this thread?

"irregardless" isn't a word Smile

If anything, it's double negative of IR and LESS make it's meaning the opposite of the context that folks intend to use it in.

Cpt Obvious, over and out.

He didn't give her the fucking jersey, him and Hill were riding along and seen her wearing it. and took some photo's... Do you know if they did or didn't give her any money? They might of..

Everyone jumps to conclusions, when you girl friend or wife get home late at night I feel sorry for them, as you probably already envisioned who she has been with...

I have an idea...

For everyone who would have done it different. Go out, find a homeless person, and do it the way you would have. Also, you don't have to post pics of it either if you don't want to.

usage Irregardless originated in dialectal American speech in the early 20th century. Its fairly widespread use in speech called it to the attention of usage commentators as early as 1927. The most frequently repeated remark about it is that “there is no such word.” There is such a word, however. It is still used primarily in speech, although it can be found from time to time in edited prose. Its reputation has not risen over the years, and it is still a long way from general acceptance.

Smile

Regardless would have been a better fit, Thank you mooch.

I like Hanny.
But having your good deed photographed and posted for all to see? I don't know just seems kinda thin.
Im sure that photo was taken for a twitter or facebook pic....I hardly think he did it so that we on vital would see him as doing a good deed. It's likely the origination of that pic was lifted from his facebook or twitter.....go look there first, probably was having a little fun with the said homeless person. I don't think it was malicious either at the same time I don't think he did it for PR points with the public....man some of you are like women and try to analyze the SHIT out of every littlke word or pic. Sheesh....

Do people seriously believe Josh gave his shirt to this homeless person because she was what frozen? Big fan of his? For her to sell on on Ebay? Seriously?

Maybe it's because some of you want to argue against Jay, or you have problems connecting being a nice guy a majority of times but some times you do questionable things (we all do stupid stuff don't we?). I'm pretty sure he and his friends had some fun on this homeless persons behalf, she didn't suffer and if someone reach in to her psyche and make her aware she might make some profit out of it? Hey I willing to buy the shirt for $ 50.

Despite us not knowing for sure why Josh did this, what does logic tell you? And so what? He's just a kid.

You know, Jay, sometimes you're just a dick.

He did a nice thing, and you shit on it, why?

I would much rather see riders give old jerseys to homeless people than toss them in the trash or even toss them to people in the crowd, who obviously aren't homeless

A guy does a nice thing, maybe even has a little fun with it, and you shit on it.

Most people probably ignore that homeless person as if she doesn't exist, just turn a blind eye, and a guy who has a well paying job, reasonably well off, took the time to stop and give a jersey to a homeless person, and you make it out to be a bad thing. That homeless person may sleep a little warmer tonight.

I hope Mitch is proud, I would be.

I think it would be great to see more riders do the same
I agree with the "fat" guy, word for word.

Neil Young again chimed in on this frothy topic - he claims " A Man Needs A Maid "

Also, regarding the homeless and relationships - he points out that " I wanna live

with a Cinnamon girl - then I'll be happy - the rest of my life - with a Cinnamon Girl."

So, there you have it.
