Total Control suspension dialed me in with.52's (2 spring rates up from stock) and 380cc's of oil. I'm 170 and my stuff is super plush.
If that’s for motocross, you must have put something in the calculator wrong. Did you put your weight in kilos instead of pounds? For reference, I’m 6’3” 215lb motocross +40B racer and I had to put a single optional stiffer spring in one fork and go from the stock 5.5nm shock spring to a 5.9kg (which I had to round up to 6.0, since 5.9 was not available). Feels correct now and I have the correct free sag measurement.
I find it confusing because I am 210 lbs and Kawasaki recomends the 56 N/MM spring (about 5.7 KG/MM) and Race Tech recommends a 5.9 KG/MM spring.
This bike rips…🏁
once you uncork it from stock exhaust.. full PC T6 with Chaz remap of efi system, air box grommet pulled.. like day and night compared to stock..you can easily pull third gear in some corners.. did get a tiny bit of detonation doing so, only on slightly less roll speeds but it’s also running just pump gas at this point, till the switch over
all the tester hype only applys to stock configuration.. this bike could’ve easily been number one after a few simple mods

Try mixing one gallon of 110 octane race gas to 2 gallons of 93 octane pump. That is fairly cheap insurance against detonation. I just keep a couple of old 5 gallon race gas cans in the garage and fill them with the 110 from the pump when I get low on the race gas. I then dump a gallon into my gas can then add the 2 gallons of pump gas on my way to the track.
I might have more laps on that track than anyone in history.
Correct.
Years ago We did a production run on black hoses after Millsaps asked us to make them for him.
Those black hoses are still sitting on the shelf. They do not sell.
Normally just run Sunoco 98 race fuels.. these bikes don’t need that much octane, specially stock
Funny! Never see you out there?
won many night races on that track.. great under race conditions, otherwise not so much..only went cause JWTF was closed for SEMA race weekend
I posted about it in another thread. Last summer a kid crashed in my moto and they spent the whole race looking for the red flag, that was the last time I raced there.
Was there…
that was a D class race wasn’t it? Was it the one the kid broke his femur after he went totally side ways after finish line double whiskey throttled into a get off?
one race one kid went into violent get off into the trees on second straight away
not a big fan of the outlaw racing.. rather stick to NC AMA races

I'm thinking he was in C class, I was in 450 expert..
I agree with your last sentence.
What’s your race number # ?
26
Did we just witness you two becoming best friends?
Did the race tech calculator again @175 lbs. Has me at .48 Front and 5.4 Rear. To match up to the stock spring rates on RT calculator, you need to be 210lbs Front and 185lbs Rear.
Wonder if the RT calculator is running off the 23 weight bias. The 24 supposed to have more forward weight bias correct?
Was thinking of sending mine to Chad at Total Control, but first wanted to do break in and run stock to see if a revalve was even necessary. Put in keefers clicker settings and set the sag at 105. Has a a little stink bug feel.
If you’re really racing A class like you stated earlier, I bet the stock springs are going to be pretty darn close. Weight wise, you’re right about where they set the bikes up for stock. What is the suspension doing wrong for you that you are trying to fix?
Factory Connection all last year had me at .51 spring and 355 CC of oil set at 175 pound rider.. it was super plush specially in deep chop
Pit Row
Did they revalve aswell? Do you know if they went firmer or softer? Love my 24 just struggling a bit with comfort on small chop, big hits are no worries.
Total revalve for Vet A/B rider using all Showa internals
the initial ride is much stiffer versus stock.. once up to race speed it feels very plush
Thanks, think I'm just too unfit to ride at race pace long enough ha ha.
The suspension revalve would make you less tired..
Yeah i have had a revalve. They went slightly softer on the valving to try and get some comfort but then went up in spring rate and more oil for better hold up. I find it hard to believe it is too soft in the valving when it is harsh on small bumps but good on big hits.
Does anyone have the full recall document, and can share it please? Thanks
Do you guys know if any company has made a full skid plate for the 24 KX450 that is not metal? If so who?
Yes , p3 carbon makes them, little pricey but good coverage. I got the standard one and uses 4 bolts that screw into existing holes.

P3. One covers the linkage and one does not. I opted for the non-linkage version.....they are solid. Acerbis is coming soon.
Thanks Guys
Hi Craig!
The TM Designworks full coverage skid plate from my 2019 fit.
