Bigger question, when does the XC line release usually?

The 150SX is my favourite KTM model! I'm glad they brought it back. Also the best looking stock KTM graphics in years

I’m not sure what to think of the 150SX (aside from bummed it wasn’t available last year)! I bought a new 2024 125 and 350 last June and have just 4 hours on the 125 and 6 on the 350. If they offer a 150 kit for the 125, I’ll buy it. If not, I may be tempted to trade the ‘24 bikes in for a pair of 25’s.

You do when your friends always want to ride your bikes! I gotta have something for myself while they’re riding one!

I rode them nonstop from 2007-2016  144/150 KTM, would be interesting to try a 2025 TBI 150 SX

Is it still a Big Bore 125 or a real 150 like it was at the Begining ?

Big bore 125. It states in the ad that it still uses the 125 base.

Didn't know they ever discontinued the 150SX. I picked up a 2022 from an auction for $2k with a "blown" engine. Turns out the Mikuni was just so terrible that it wouldn't start. Cool  https://imgur.com/a/7Afydt0

Anyone in Oregon want a fully-loaded, meticulously maintained, fear-inducing dragon breather with a dialed-in Lectron '19 150SX with under 50 hrs on it? Holler at me! Sideways

While there are still carb'd 125/150's being made, I'll never buy an injected model, amazes me how many kids think EFI is the go :-(

That bike will out perform the TBI 150. You'd greatly regret your decision in selling for one, just an FYI.

I have had one for a month...

Yeah, no. You haven’t.

I’ll save you folks from clicking the link. The bike in his video is NOT a 2025 150SX. He built one. Claims it’s the only 150SX in the world, KTM hasn’t even built one (though we know now KTM clearly has had one built for probably several months), blah blah blah.

This was the hp performance dyno runs. With the Get ecu.

Dark blue line = stock 125sx tbi

Light blue line = Get ecu map

Green line = carb'd 22 lynk racing full mod

Slightly misleading as a Lynks motors tends to move power around and in my case a few years ago, produced less peak HP than stock. But at the sacrifice of peak HP, has a much more linear power curve. Use a stock 125SX dyno curve for a good comparison. No idea why Derek from HP did that comparison without stock when he’s mentioned what the stock carb bikes were making (more than that Lynks motor made), on his same dyno.

Not to mention a Get ECU is more expensive than getting cylinder, head and case work done by Lynks (around $700 sending parts to them). On top of the fact the TBI’s are already almost $1800 more than the carb bikes were.

Um, yeah I have.  Thanks for the hate, it will only make me stronger.

You do have me that mine is not a 25', however, (as of a month ago when I posted the video),  it was the only one posted on any website, page, social media, Instragram, YT, Thumpertalk, etc.  Maybe someone built one in their shop, the world will never know, no has any proof or photos to document what they have or don't have, I do.

Until KTM releases their 150sx ( I suspect not until the late summer after talking with them yesterday), the one I have is the only one at the moment out there at the track and being ridden and it's killer.

I will be offering bolt on kits for the 23'-24' with reflashed ECU's as well as the GET way before KTM will have them.  They would rather sell you a new $8500 bike for now, then sell you parts later.

All good, would love to see some photos of pics of anyone else's TBI 150sx from a month ago..post them here.

My comment is still accurate. This is about an OEM 2025 KTM 150SX, not what you (or anyone else) has built from an existing 2023 or 2024 model.

I’m not hating any anything. You have what is known to be the only 23-24 125SX that has been turned into a 150. Hard to dispute that. I will be purchasing whatever is needed to turn mine into a 150 and I will be getting a GET ECU for it as well.

Wish they made it a “true” 150 like the pre 2016 bikes. Love my 16 150sx, thought it was the best small bore motor I’ve ridden until I spun some laps on a 2012 150sx. What a damn good motor those were.

I had a Lectron on a 150sx. The Mikuni seemed quite a bit faster once I fixed the jet block gasket and dialed it in.
