I hv a new One industries complete seat for the 04 cr125.  Little logos cover it for the grip , kinda cool.

I believe it was the capital dump private equity did to launch a bike brand is what did them in. They had big plans to compete with Fox in the bicycle segment because they thought they had already maxed out in Moto. I believe they eluded to having to expand into bicycle to keep the company growing. What they really meant was “we’re broke so this bicycle thing is our last ditch effort.”

One was awesome and a bad ass company but the private equity group ran them into the ground so quick. Those guys were completely clueless to what they were doing.

The former CEO of One Industries runs now Fox Racing / Revelyst, the Vista Outdoor pilar for powersports and cycling products..

You'd have to change your number to 138 to run that helmet.

That’s actually a good idea LOL.
Now, I can tell my wife I need a new bike because of this helmet I’m looking for.

Back at 2012 & 2013 they lost a load, lets rephrase that, a shitload of money on the Martin Honda deal. The figures going around in the MXGP paddock back than where enormous for two low profile riders. [Reading it in Jeremy Clarkson his voice] Some people say that deal eventually put them under.

Seriously?

🤔

It was more a combination from high sponsor deals and a crisis that made people spend less.

Right before ONE took a digger in 2015, there was a prototype high end helmet with a high end price point that never saw the light of day outside of internal company R&D

The thing was/is bitchen

Have to wonder if the acquisition of the brand will include that helmet as it never saw production other than the 2 prototypes

A helmet designed in 2015 is almost ancient interns of modern technology. Helmets came a long way in 9 years.

That isn’t really true. Tech and innovation has not come a long way. Essentially helmets are still EPS foam with a carbon or fiberglass or composite or plastic shell over it. Yes rotational mitigation systems have come along, but the jury is still out if those systems work as suggested. I’ve been on site at 3rd party lab tests where 2010 model helmets performed better than new models.

Probably wouldn't be current looking.  I wonder how the Shoei MX helmets sell?  They are awesome but they look a decade past their prime.

Pretty cool that they offer "long" pant sizing. I don't recall any other brand doing that.

Wow. They just got my business. Every pair of pants I own the leather is up on my thigh and I end up with holes in the "shin region" where they rub the bike.

Anybody know where they filmed that intro video?

Yikes so are they only selling "premium gear?" I'm not into dropping $300 for a set of gear...

I did the one industries thing on my bikes but never had gear.

I also did the buttery look before he did, then he mumbled my number around and went with it. Lol
