Should let AEO be their 250 team and give them factory support!

The already get factory service motors even though I believe it’s a year behind normally

I agree with making 250’s one series. Get rid of the futures crap and bring back 125’s with a minimum bike  weight limit of 185lbs, Build what you want class. One qualifier one main.

juju is doing just fine IMO

I’m an JuJu fan and think he’s been doing well.
But here’s the timeline for those that don’t recall.
Star snagged Daxton Bennick who was on a KTM amateur support deal at the time, then he did well at Lotettas on blue.
Few months later, JuJu was on a Yamaha (riding at the goat farm, but not Star support) and then set the fastest qualifier at A2 futures.
Bennick ended up winning the race that night and JuJu was a ways back, but they signed him later that next week to Orange Brigade.
To me it was a “we’ll show you” signing to get him off of blue and away from Star.
I’m not saying he didn’t deserve it, (was actually hoping Star would have signed him) but that’s the way I see it happening.

My guess Rodger is making the calls.  Riding at that level is a tough game, results are expected or your gone.  It like that in many industries.

They mentioned during the broadcast that he has been riding hurt most of the season.

I could be wrong, but I think they said it was an ankle. He injured it after A1.

If KTM wanted a race winner then they should have signed a race winner (someone like Kitchen). But what they have is a rookie who's doing just fine.

Think it was hand, thought I heard Davy or Blair say something.

I think once he gets the race pace/fitness dialed in he will be battling, looks like there’s speed to work with

Remember when Roger fired Kailub Russell mid way through outdoors?

Rickyisms wrote:

That seemed like such a slap in the face. Kailub seemed invaluable to the offroad side of KTM

FWIW Kailub has his own training facility and a lot of the KTM GNCC guys train there and he's at the majority of the races with a KTM factory shirt scouting lines and stuff for the team it looks like. He also raced the Sportsman class at Florida GNCC a couple rounds ago and was on a factory bike.

So at least KTM as a whole has certainly taken care of him although the MX side certainly hasn't.

It's almost like you shouldn't have 80 year olds running the countr.... er I mean a dirt bike racing team....

It would be JuJu’s lucky day if KTM let him go. I see him getting a PC ride, and riding to his ability. Might be wishful thinking, but I think the bike is holding him back. The line forms here to for all the Katoom lovers to flame me !

It’s how it should be. You don’t perform you get cut.

Isn't that wild? They bump this dude up to the pro ranks earlier than planned and are already ready to write him off halfway through SX. Strangest team ever. I thought JuJu has shown a lot of promise so far this year. What do they expect?

Sounds like JuJu should’ve taken that offer from Bobby when he tried poaching him from the KTM rig!!!

Didn’t JuJu bars get knocked into his lap that night and that’s why he was way back? The other future races JuJu was pretty good.

This is an insane position from KTM - even if they are just trying to put pressure on him, with him being under contract a few more years.  Juju has insane talent on the bike, just watch him.  Occasionally he will hit sections that reminds me of the things Jett would do as a rookie.  The only thing I can come up with as an explanation is, they see his talent level at the practice track every week and they understand that his results are meeting up with his talent level.  I think he has done great in his first year.  Give this kid time and he will fantastic.  What I know won't help him develop is pushing to the point he crashes out and gets hurt every year like AC, Forkner, etc. Let the kid develop.

I wouldn’t be dropping him if I were KTM. He has shown great promise, works hard, and head a good head on his shoulders. Let him train with Chase and let it marinate.

Juju has shown more flashes than Ryder D. Unfortunate if this is true. I’m sure this will peak some interest at PC and Star .

Imo Ryder D had clubmx written all over him. He looks great on a bike, smart and good kid. Doesn’t have the top top end speed yet

If true, that is insanely weird. Their amateur and 250 pipeline is so weird. Truly the anti-PC Kawi.

Could it has anything to Beaumer his relationship with Millsaps who isn't a real KTM fan? It would be stupid to cut him off, because he does great!

Dont think the ktm bosses are a big Millsaps fan since the lack of performance when he was at Suzuki. Davi always making excuses wonder if that is wearing off on the kid

Didn’t Bennick give up a pretty healthy contract with KTM and pay to ride for Star? (Or is riding very cheap).

Mitch @ PC has entered the chat (or is monitoring it).

perfect landing pad for Juju would be PC Kawi IMO.

I'm not sure. Quite a high turnover of riders over at Star so that might be a sideways move. Maybe Triumph would be a good option...

Kitchen made the perfect decision for himself, I am sure KTM made him an offer but who would hitch their career to KTM? Ju Ju at PC seems like a good fit to me!!!

KTM is a farm team for Star Yamaha. Prado is their best racer and GG lets kawi sign him. KTM has moto gp derangement.

I don't understand how anything could be wrong with Roger at the helm....isn't he the greatest mind to ever grace our sport and never makes a wrong move?

Tom Vialle finished 8th in points last year. JuJu currently in 7th. Tom is older and already an MX2 champ. Crazy that they would think JuJu is doing poorly.

Clearly he has speed. He just passed the points leader to take the lead of a race last weekend.
