Mad Mike Jones arrested

Edited Date/Time 1/27/2012 7:05pm
It appears he lost his temper on some airport employees and then when the cops arrived he reportedly punched the cop and ended up getting tasered and arrested.

Ooooops!!!

2 AM and Tasered 5 times ? "Got Drugs"

When a police officer arrived at the concourse he ordered the Pennsylvania man to "lay on the ground". Jones reportedly punched the officer. Four more police officers arrived came to the first officer's assistance, using a Taser Jones five times before they had the situation under control.

Jones was charged with battery on a law enforcement officer, assault and resisting arrest with violence.

Seriously, anyone who actually gives an employee at the airport, knowing how the rules work, crap is stupid. I don't care if one kicked me. I'd not cause the ruckus there. I'd film it on my phone, and then take them to court or something. Because the airport with the new rules, has pretty much free rein over anyone.

Damn, Jones has always been a little "rugged" but I never thought he would go this far. That sucks, he was always a pretty cool guy.

Yeah. I have to say Mad Mike isn't the smartest man in the world. If there's anywhere you should mind your P's and Q's it's the airport. I believe when you do shit like this it's a federal offense so I would expect the next thing we hear is he got a nice little stay at a federal prison..

Unfortunately, too many ex-racers and ex-freestylers end up this way.

Also, does a person need higher than a 3rd grade education to post articles for the news?

Interesting how as we follow a lot of the "harcore" guys who are "good for the sport" are running into a host of life issues. Tyler Evans, J-Law, Mad Mike. I could go on.
Just sayin.

Let the slaying begin.

Why didn't Mad Mike and James Eickel team up, talk about a bad month for the two of them.

I really think Mike needs to get into fighting, he already has the look going and he is as tough as nails to be tased 5 times. He had to have smoke rolling off his head after that.

CHANGED LIVES
Mad Mike Jones: World-Class Risk-Taker — But Not With His Finances
By Shawn Brown
The 700 Club

CBN.com – He’s known as, “the greatest motocross showman on the planet”. Michael Jones or, “Mad Mike Jones”, is a renowned international motocross champion turned freestyle cyclist.

“It’s very dangerous, but it’s what I love to do,” Mike says. “I love to put on shows.”

He thrills crowds with his own signature creations like the “no handed lander” and “the kiss of death.”

“My goal was to just go out on my dirt bike and do the best I could, and it just grew from there,” Mike says. “I got sponsors. I started getting paid to wear clothes. I started getting paid to ride bikes, and the money just started coming in. It just seemed like it kept going, and it got better and better.”

Mad Mike has been featured in video games and even has his own line of toys. But, before Mike’s career success, he and his wife Christine traveled as a team making just enough from his motocross winnings to get by.

“I made $20,000 that year, but we spent $15,000 on travel, going to races, and food. So we had $5,000 to live on,” Mike recalls. “We struggled but not to where we didn’t have what we needed.”

That’s about the time Christine discovered The 700 Club.

“One night I was watching TV to keep myself company,” Christine says. “I turned on the TV and flicked on, The 700 Club, and a story that really caught my attention was an Operation Blessing story about giving winter jackets to people. That’s something that really touched me.”

Christine knew she wanted to help, but she wondered how she could when she and Mike were living on a tight budget.

“Mike gave me the freedom with the money to pay the bills and things, so I made a $200 donation for Operation Blessing,” Christine says. “Every night I would turn on The 700 Club to hear a new story, and we became partners at that point because I really believed in the cause.”

After becoming partners, the Joneses received a copy of Pat Robertson’s The Secret Kingdom and learned God’s principles for giving.

“We were just giving, not really expecting to get back,” Mike says. “We just gave because we wanted to, and we gave everything we could. I didn’t have any of the toys, the Harleys, the boats, the jet skis. I gave to CBN instead, and I don’t regret it for a minute.”

So the Joneses increased their giving to $50 a month, and that’s when things started happening.

“At the end of year, if we had extra money, even if we had already given a certain amount of money, we gave more,” Mike says.

“You give and it is given unto you. More than you could ever give, the Lord can give us back,” Christine says. “I started to see that in our finances. Doors started opening up for us, for Mike, his career, and his opportunities. People started noticing him more.”

Now, the Joneses are founders with CBN and encourage others to take the step of faith and learn what they have learned.

“If you give something, you receive something more valuable than what you gave -- whether it’s material or not,” Christine says.

Mike agrees, “I give and I don’t expect to get anything back. There’s no other place that I can think of that reaches so many people, and that’s why if there’s a gift to be given, it’s going to CBN.”

Mike and Christine discovered a powerful truth from God’s Word. Luke 6:38 says, “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” (NIV)

God wants to bless you too, just as He has blessed the Joneses. One way you can give to God’s work is through CBN. Not only will you reach thousands each day with a message of truth and hope through The 700 Club, you will also help feed and clothe children around the world, bring medical aid to those suffering, and so much more. Please join with us today.

I don't see what the big deal is? A guy lost his temper... got a little feisty... and thats it.

Im not saying its right, but I think some of you guys are over reacting. You don't even know the reason why he lost his temper.

Didnt he lead a 500 national back in 1990 or something for 2/3 of a moto?. Delmont maybe, before finishing 4th on the day? As I remember right, 4th was like 1st place because the guys in front of you that year would have been Stanton and Ward, maybe Lechein or Bradshaw.

Anyways, judging from that pic, I hope this sparks Mikes MMA career after his time spent in the hooscow.

MIA is one place you DO NOT FUCK AROUND.
They've got cops, dogs, undercover, DEA, CIA, FBI you name it, everywhere, because you have all these crazies and dope runners all over the place from all over the world, especially South and Central America, and if you've been to South or Central America, you know the cops in those places don't fuck around....so MIA takes the same approach because that is what keeps certain folk in line.
MIA is a toilet, and I would always do everything in my power to not have to use that shithole.

couldnt have happened to a nicer douche..... excuse me, nice guy!

I have had the misfortune to run into mr dickhead asshole mike jones on 2 occasions and both times, literally thru no effort or cause of mine or anyone i was with actions, got a dose of a true dick.

Ft Worth 1999, drving thru the parking lot to get to our room after friday night AX. We pull into a slot, get our bags out of the van, walking to the room, mike and 3 of his nut hangers are out on the second floor walkway looking down and we hear "yeah and look at these 2 butt pirates" and then "better watch out guys, fags on parade in ft worth" and hes saying it loud enough to make sure we hear it...

flash forward to St louis sx the next year or year after. We are standing in the hotel lobby at the pay phones while 1 friend is talking to his wife and the other is calling information to get a number because cell phone 411 back then was 3 or 4 dollars. here comes Mike, some chick(we assumed his girlfriend) and some black sock wearing fat guy. We dont even realise someone is standing there when we hear " better watch out honey or I'll give you to these guys, not that they could do much good for you" then hear the "look at this one, bet he could teach you how to suck dick". we all justr acted like we didnt hear anything which seemed to piss him off because as we left he did the whole stand as wide as possible in the middle of the floor by the phones deal, sadly, we were actually headed to the elevators the other way.

couldnt happen to a nicer douch imo.
