Yea, I'm seeing Prado and Kitchen in '26. JA has another year on his deal?
For a 450 ride? Why are they trying to move him up so quick, clearly no where near ready for a 450 anytime soon. I even heard rumors they were thinking he'd be ready for a 450 next year.
Yea after the first few rounds I thought he'd at least have one win by now.
Come on, he's 31 years old.

It's interesting. It seems there was this brief period of time when all the old guys that normally would have been considering going into aged care homes decided to keep racing. Two reasons for this: Tomac did well with his move to Yamaha and career resurgence; but more importantly, there were not that many fast young guys emerging - apart from Chase.
They all looked at the competition and thought they could extend their careers. Jett has put an end to this way of thinking. It seems the teams won't be happy to subsidize the old guys any longer either. They all seem to be desperately searching for new young fast guys.
He was on fire and by all accounts had no plans on retiring soon.
Agreed.
Sarcasm? He just got on green
Try telling that to the Kawi bosses. Seventh place in the series for the number 1 guy on a factory team is not cutting it.
You can't shovel dirt on these guys any faster can you? Can't say as I blame you because as we've witnessed, Kenny, Cooper, AP, are all capable of defeating the future King. Still waiting on Eli and Jason...
Maybe, but we can't know that - - and it's not relevant to this thread.
Lots of businesses decisions being made on the track. You can throw a few more in that group as well. KR admitted that he gives second thoughts on risky obstacles.
It happens when you get older and have families.
He looked faster earlier in the season. He is 53 points down and 7th in the series.
Add to that their 2nd rider is not top 10 and they have just launched a brand new bike. Not great.
Add the lack of performance to reliability issues . . They had to sell last years models for what? $5900 after the rebates?
its a good time to be in the market for a kawi/zuke if you're willing to be caught riding one
Not aware of any reliability issues. Last years bike on heavy discount to make way for the new model.
A lot of people grenading those kx engines after 30-40 hours it seems like and then posting about it. To be fair they're not doing proper maintenance
Nothings up with Anderson..... Ando is doing Ando.
Pit Row
In years past the age for being a Pro was in asap at 16 birthday and past the done point was 27.
Those days are long gone and riders are still competitive into their 30’s.
The bad part is the riders are staying in longer so there are less opportunities for the young guns that are coming in.
Apparently Star Racing has room.
Ducati 🇮🇹 and Triumph 🇬🇧 down the road with the 450 coming
Bennick has the ability to bypass Deegan with time. Soon as he gets a little more top level experience, he will show it.
Like other fast guys, if they get a start, they’re going for it. If not, then they’re not.
Seen some of those grenaded engines apart. Some with 15-20 hours. Not sure what maintenance would have prevented it. Aside from a new crank and rod assembly at low low hours. Valvetrain seems to be solid for good intervals.
Plenty of Kawi’s at my local tracks. I haven’t noticed them being anymore (or less) problematic than the others brands. Regardless, that’s not Anderson’s issue.
This is part of the problem. These guys need to win championships now. You want to grow the sport of Sx, Mx. you need new younger bodies. Remember back in the 80’s, only one supercross class before the 125 class. You raced 250 Supercross as a 16, 17 year old competing against, Omara, Schultz, Magoo, Bailey, Lechien, Barnett, Ward, Glover, Hannah, Johnson. You were either winning or retiring. Most these guys didn’t get past 27 years of age and they were put out to pasture, or burned out. Sx needs more new blood. Move these guys to the show by 20. If they don’t produce in five years, then it’s time to look elsewhere at career options. As it is now, most these guys just riding for paycheck. Only guys following are followers of these guys since 250 class. Tomac fans, Anderson fans, Craig fans, etc. sure they may be competitive, however they are not going to win titles. RJ Hampshire should have moved up to 450 years ago. Mcadoo been riding 250 forever. Seems to be a Bottleneck into the 450 class. Many good rider, didn’t get a shot at 450’s. Example J.Mart (finished second at Daytona). If older riders, want to ride 450 class, Finance it themselves with there sponsorship sources (example Chad Reed). There will be more rides available in near future, with Ducati, and Triumph. Likely need at least 15 full factory sponsored riders. End of rant.🥃🥃🥃
Yeah at Indy he did. He and Barcia r the only 2 that hv any style on the 450. Wouldn’t it get old tho the same questions every week. Same routine go through the motions and get the big pay check. At 28 there thinking another yr another apartment complex I own. The fan boys get addicted to a rider and keep them going.
Anderson is finishing right where I expect. At this point, he could have the ride of his life on a perfect night and still only land in 3rd or 4th. One or two bad laps and he's in 9th, easy. The competition is gnarly this year.
