Put it this way I'm in the Sonoran desert four hours away from Seattle right now, and the rain on the roof of my RV right now is deafening. The fucking idiot that would build a stadium with no roof in the rainiest city in North America should be shot and pissed on.

Heres the WSDOT website so you can see traffic cams around Seattle. Go to the left of the screen and turn on "Cameras". Then zoom in over Seattle to start clicking through them. The stadium is at the end of I-90 before it turns into Puget sound.

Seems like the plastic has only put off the inevitable.
If there is no sun or wind once the rain stops, the water on the plastic does not evaporate and when you take the plastic off, all the un evaporated water just goes onto the track in the low spots or the uncovered start straight.
Oh well.
