If Kyle Webster can stay on 2 wheels, it's got to be him this year. Saw him and Dean Ferris racing at Hervey Bay in February and he was flying. Luke Clout could be a big contender also though this year if he's 100%.

I've got to try to get to the round in Maitland, the only one sort of near to me. Not a fan of the track, if it's what I'm familiar with,  but, they are the ones to put their hand up to it, so, good on them (the Club) .

No idea who'll win - though the Webster tip seems the most likely. Though, Ferris is always a threat, the (relatively) old bugger.

Something of note nowadays is just how many riders have raced - some for considerable time - overseas. Pretty much nearly all in the top ten, at many rounds. There's a lot of experience out there, which can only raise the levels of the up and coming youngsters to a higher level.

I think Ferris does it again, but I’d be more than happy if one of the younger guys can finally pull it together.

Webster will win in the sand but Ferris is my tip for the title

My brain says Ferris or Webster, but my heart wants the ultimate fairytale ending for Metty. Number 24 in his 24th year of professional racing in 2024!

Ah, Metty, Grey Haired and Bearded (and Very Fast) Old Man that he is - that would be fan-bloody-tastic to see!

My money is on Webster - he’s been on a 450 now for a few years so I think it’s his time. At AMX Open he was 20 secs faster than Crawford & Todd. At Hervey Bay recently he showed he’s there with Ferris and won the O/A.

Would love to see Metty take the title home... even some moto or round wins would be great. Been a fan since he was smoking me on PWs!

What is Regan Duffy up too?

Did he fully recover after his near fatal crash?

Hard to go past Ferris. He was damn solid last year on a privateer machine, now he’s back on CDR, hard to believe he takes any kind of a step back. I think Crawford will be fast, though.. just don’t see him staying in it all season.

Great question.. seems like he just kind of vanished, unless I missed something.

Should be a good fight between the CDR boys and Webster I think. Beaton will be better on the Yamaha, Ferris looks good already, scary really that he seemed to have Websters pace in the sand at Hervey Bay. He also looked quicker at Conondale than Clout the other weekend. I think it’ll be a CDR 1-2 followed by Webster.

also Reid Taylor on the Empire Kawi looked veryyy quick the other weekend.

Ferris surely has it, unless his form dropped. Last race I went to (QMP), he was hands down so much faster in one of the motos. It was like the rest of the field was on 125s.

Not sure if that is simply Australian riders vs International rider skill level, but it was amazing to see.

I think Ferris has it. Him and Webster battled in the sand a couple weeks ago and Webster is a sand specialist. Gonna be a good series

The TBA round is at Murray Bridge (monarto) South Australia, which is where the SA national round was usually held until a few years ago when it moved to the Gillman track.

The dirt is great and the track is pretty good. It has lots of pretty steep jumps and nice set of whoops, I rode/struggled there today so I am looking forward to seeing the pros make it really fun and easy haha
