Good for Mosiman! He'll have the equipment to win now.

Can’t believe how long it took them to announce this.

I'm happy for him to get on a team...but what's the point this far into supercross??

Potentially finish between Smith and Kitchen/RJ. And just get some gate drops in if they plan to keep him, he's been out a minute.

Awesome news.          Historically, he's seemed so much better than his results.... hope the team change is the difference.

Finishing sx, doing outdoors, smx, and signed for next year (full year).

I'm sure they picked him up on the cheap. I view this as a tryout for next year. Plus it can be viewed as a fill in ride for Stylez.

My opinion is i think it is great. Kid showed a lot of speed a couple years ago and seemed to be on the cusp of winning races.

Development. They'll have some numbers to get their outdoor bike on track with Michael's preferences.

Already signed for next year.

Like I said. I like the deal. Probably would've rather had him and get rid of 3 guys... Just the timing is so odd.

edit: So Star Yamaha is going to fill half the gates of the 250 E/W shootout Main Event...lol

Kinda cool to see an unofficial YROC.

Whoa !!!!

I really hope he finds what he "could have had"...if that makes sense.
He was one of a couple of riders in the 250's that was able to rattle Jett.

His equipment was never what kept him from winning.

i just hope he can thrive in the environment at Star.

Maybe he can be a good influence on the younger guys. He seems really nice.

Gees, if the Ringling Bros. bear on a bicycle had opposable thumbs to hold a pen Star would sign him. I would like to see the list of who they have tried to get but didn't/wouldn't sign with Star. Good luck to Mossiman though, seems like a great person.

Glad to see him coming back. Will be interesting to see how he is on the Yamaha VS how he did on the Gasgas.

After hearing the interview that he talked about letting homeless people move in with him, and getting robbed. I've been rooting for him. It is nice to know that there are still people out there that trust people, and are willing to help a stranger who he knew was a risk. I like to help people and it often has ended up costing me too.

Reminds me of the time I picked  up a hooker by mistake in a blizzard because I thought she was my mother.

I was driving through town in a blizzard and saw a women walking. She flagged me down so I stopped. I thought she looked like my mother at first. She asked for a ride to the store a couple blocks away. Then asked me to wait while she went into the store. I started to worry, that she was robbing the store. But I could see everything, and it did not look like anything bad.

She came out and got back into my truck. She started to say how she did not normally do this sort of thing, as she was pulling her dress up and exposing her fishnet stockings. She offered some favors for the low low price of $25, which she said she needed for diapers for her baby.  It was close to Christmas. She seemed like she was really in need. I looked in my wallet and I had a $20 and a $1 bill.

I handed them to her and said I did not need anything in return. And that it was all I had on me. Instead of thanking me she said she really needed the entire $25. and was willing to do whatever favors for that $4 more. I apologized and said that was all I could give her and offered her a ride back to where I picked her up. I dropped her off and in my mirror  I watched her walk up to another truck that was parked down the street waiting . Pretty sure she was using that money for something that was not diapers. But I just figured it was worth the $21 for the small chance that she really was that in need of help. And also for the story I had of picking up a hooker by mistake in a blizzard because I thought she was my mother.

Seems like a risky move for star. Hope he can keep healthy and snag those illusive wins

Got to say I'm always bewildered at the money Bobby will throw at riders. With that said I applaud it. Always weird to see so much blue but it's great for the sport to give a large roster of young riders a chance at proving themselves. I like this.

He's going to be really good outdoors on a Star bike...  Let's see if he can find the top step finally.

Good dude, I wish him the best.

Do all these guys pay to be on this program or is it a bonus only contract? No way the team is paying everyone unless it’s bonus based. Or am I tripping ? I would love it if big teams like this paid all the guys but I’m pretty sure that’s not how MX or SX works.

Now Michael Mosiman has a conflict of interest, will MXA say anything negative about Yamaha or their bikes?

Is there a cap on how many riders one team can have in a class?

No, if they wanted to, they could hire enough riders to fill every qualifying spot.

So I guess we all just wait until it's our turn to sign with Star Racing Yamaha?

Not all but some do pay to be on the team. Just recently there was an interview with Bennick where they said they turned down a generous, multi-year paid offer from KTM to pay to ride for Star Yamaha for a one year deal when he was turning pro.
