So where is the post race Deegan interviews?

I've seen at least 2 with Hammaker...and at least 2 with Shock....

He doesn't give them unless his night goes good. He runs and hides. Its always been like this. 

Deagan has this biggest head I have ever seen, so none of his BS surprises me.

he didn't have to fight him, but it would have been cool if Seth would have picked his punk ass up and carried him back to the star rig and threw him back and told them to put a leash on their puppy.

Dude has issues he needs to deal with.  When things go his way, its all him.  When things don't go his way, he's a classic victim with it being everyone else's fault.  Kid needs a massive amount of humility.  Someone needs to hand it to him.

I would like to think that someone in his camp will sit him down and review that video footage with him and tell him what a complete and utter fucking emotionally retarded, douche bag moronic idiot he looks like but something tells me that just won’t happen and they’ll just eat this up for the social media blitz they will get from it. I fear that he will spin any backlash as nothing more than the "haters" like he loves to reference. But instead I'm hoping he does some reflecting this week. Maybe someone from the team will sit him down and try to get through to him. But with his dad hovering, there is probably no hope of that happening. So it all just comes back to his dad in his ear. But as someone who wants to see him do well, he really needs to understand the situation.  I don't think him being young is as much to blame as the environment that he has grown up in. I wouldn't be shocked if he's being told that he did nothing wrong etc, but hopefully that is not the case. He's better off if someone can get through to him.

So, my take.

Considering their gate picks, both Deegan and Hammaker were in good position going into the first turn.

When Deegan cut down, Hammaker should've backed it off a bit.  Deegan was ahead, and RC said Deegan's move in the first corner was normal.  From some angles it looks like Deegan had every right to cut down, and there's no sense of aggression.  He was ahead of other riders, and simply trying to get a good start from a bad gate position.

Deegan should not have cut down on everyone AND hit the brakes at the same time.  Hammaker had hardly any time to respond.

After the crash, Deegan was in the wrong for shoving Hammaker's bike.  He obviously was frustrated that there was a race happening, while it was taking an incredibly long time to get the bikes untangled.

Once the bikes were untangled, and after Deegan had thrown Hammaker's bike, someone was blocking Deegan from getting his bike back on the track.  Whatever was said there was deserved.  The official needed to get the heck out of the way.

Going to the pits to talk to Hammaker was a bad move. For the crash, I'll give 50% of the blame to it being a racing incident, 25% to Deegan for cutting down AND simultaneously hitting the brakes a bit, and 25% to Hammaker for not backing it off a bit.

Deegan had no right to be mad at Hammaker, but it seems many riders blame the other guy in the heat of the moment, then end up apologizing afterward after watching the footage.  The Jett/Anderson incident comes to mind.

I don't believe Deegan owes Hammaker an apology for the cutting down on the first turn, nor the other way around.

I do believe Deegan owes him an apology, and probably should've been penalized for throwing his bike down.

I could've justified it if Hammaker, or any rider, was taking their sweet time in getting back to business, but that isn't the case here.  The bikes had just been separated, and Seth was right there, ready to get back into the race.

Deegan's lost his temper.  That's not passion. That's losing your cool.  An apology is in order to Seth.

For what it's worth, I'm a huge fan of both riders.

I once saw Seth being his mechanic's mechanic, on their day off, so that his mechanic could have a ride day.  How cool is that!

Then the two of them offered to help me set the SAG on my bike.

They don't know me at all.  They're simply really good dudes.

Anyway, I hope they both do well!

Im just glad to see Bennick have a faster qualifying time , AGAIN , than deegan. And , beating him , AGAIN, in the main. He will be faster that deegan on a regular basis with time. 

Who in the 450 class would fight him? No one is risking a suspension or DQ. 

He's been really quiet just lurking these threads. I want to hear how we're all soft haters and deegan did nothing. Oh and he loves to see deegan make us cry. Brian and haiden know people aren't happy when they don't post multiple instagram stories a day. Its been crickets since the race.

Deegan got the hokeshot.  Crossed to the inside and Seth hit him.   Deegs was fired up and pushed his bike over after er 25 minutes of the inbred track workers trying to separate the bikes

How can any of you be mad at Deegan? The crash was completely Hammaker's fault. He's the one who had zero room and tried to get around Bennick's handlebar at the last second running into Deegan. Same exact thing he did at Detroit to Vialle and caused one of the worst first turn pileups in SX history. Watch the video again. Everyone is going the same speed entering the first turn, then here comes Hammaker, not even paying attention going way faster than he should, smokes into Deegan.

Exactly, he has been trained to react this way his whole life.  This is not the end either.

Considering the pain of the snapping bone, not to mention how do you win a heat race with a break in your collarbone, that would explain how he rode over the berm for the virtards saying he is a clown for riding over the berm and falling on his own.
