Hey fellow Vitards. Just updating some pics of my son Logan Mortberg from RCSX. You might remember he was on the weekend warrior post for Loretta’s last year where he got 4th in Supermini. We moved up to 250s after Loretta’s. He did pretty good at Daytona. 2nd in 450b limited, 7th in 250b limited. Here’s some pics. Be easy on me!

Good shots but black point is a little aggressive in a couple of them, especially second to last. Gives it a moody look but still a little too much for me
Good progression to the bigger bikes, I assume he is happier being on the 250F.
Nice work dad. Be proud of the kid.
Sounds like he is ripping! Congrats! He looks great. Definitely not a vitard.

He is much happier on the big bike. I am happier too. Much nicer to maintain versus a full built supermini.
Congrats to your son. Those are incredible results!
Congratulations, kid has good form. 👍
He was going good! My buddy is 22 on the yam in that first pic so I was up there watching.
Logan has progressed a lot of the last 3 years. Keep putting in the hard work because it is definitely showing.
Excellent body positioning
Enjoy the journey!
What is RCSX?
Ricky Carmichael Super Cross. It’s Daytona Amateur SX.
He also cleaned up at Daytona Amateur Arenacross. He won 250b, 450b, and A/B Allstars. Really proud of him.

Thanks
I have had the opportunity to watch him quite a bit over the last couple years. Kid rips!
Congrats, Kid, and congrats, Pop!
that panning shot is awesome. as well as the shot with the checkered seats
Pit Row
Congrats on his results. As you know, the next couple of years are going to be challenging… It’s not going to be easy with all the distractions at his age, but do your best to be supportive and keep it fun.
if it was meant to be, it’ll turn into something that could produce income for him. If it wasn’t meant to be, you’ll have great memories with your son.
Just make sure to keep yourself in check, it’s an easy line to cross as far as pressure on him.
again… congrats, he’s doing great things
I would just like to point out that there is not 1 down vote on the original post in this thread!
there is hope….
I can’t wait to see him shred in Futures!
Until then…Enjoy The Ride!
Manny
Note: can we get a list of his sponsors and…please…list all of’em including the local folks at the out of industry & family-ties level…’cause, there’s A LOT of us that LOVE reading about them.
Well done, pops, gotta be proud! How old was he when he started passing you on the track? That was a rough time for me, lol, and your guy looks like he hauls the mail!
Congrats! Be proud, live the dream!
Hey thanks! His sponsors are 100 Racing for gear, Viral goggles, and Deland Motorsports helps some with parts. CJ and Tawny Harris at Pax help us with other parts/gear, and JCs bikes and boards helps with road biking. We appreciate the support we have. Oh and our friends the Dempseys help with a place to ride a couple days a week.
Thank you! He was probably faster than me at 11 years old on an 85! I was happy to pass the torch!
5th picture down taking that right hand turn. Lumpy and others posted about his good form.
-looking ahead in the turn
-finger on clutch
-elbow up

Good job dad. Such good memories being formed with your boy.
Holy cow, great responses. All positive. But with that said, take Langhammx advise.
Has a great number also!
Hello Jon, what state do you reside in? If I may ask..
Edit - are you guys at Freestone?
We are in Florida. We did not make it to Freestone or Spring a Ding this year. Logan is actually feeling a little under the weather. We were going to do Red Bull Day in The Dirt Down South, but it depends on how he is feeling later today.
