Who you guys picking?

Herlings
Gajser

That new Honda is gonna kill it in MXGP
Really hope for Herlings but I can’t bet against Gajser on the new bike. Febvre if he stays healthy may run away with it
It's going to be a very interesting year if all of them can stay healthy. Gaiser is going to be 100% and he's consistent. Romain is still fast and cranky as hell and might be on the best bike in the pits. Likewise for Seewer. Prado has an advantage with his hole shots and his ability to get those bonus points on the Saturday moto. But at the end of the day Herling's is still one of the best in the world along with Sexton, Jett and Tomac. And he has those days like Tomac that has everyone shaking their heads at the pure speed, FITNESS and determination shown. Beast mode. If he can stay healthy, he can let Prado get all those Saturday Bonus points. Come Sunday, it won't matter. Can't wait..

I'd put Renaux on that poll too... I think Gajser will be strong, with all of them winning races and battling.
Don't forget Seewer and Renaux on the list!
Ben Watson or Jeremy Seewer
Now you're speaking my language.
Seewer had a nice day today. Boy I hope his luck goes his way and wins a bunch of GPs and is contending
Would love to see Seewer make it, but I think Gajser takes it. The only thing that can stop a healthy Tiga is JH84, and to go by history a lot of things stops that from happening. Hopefully they all stay in the fight the full season and we’ll see who wins. I called Prado as champ 23 as soon as I heard they gave points for the saturdays. If he can remain focused and motivated to go out on top he will obviously be in the mix.
if all stay healthy
1. 84
2. 243
3. 1(61)
4. 3
5. 959
6.91
91, gut feeling
I think Gajser will win it. Herlings will miss a round or two with an injury during the season which makes it difficult for him when Gajser racks up podiums every single weekend.
What I want, vs think, vs 2nd pick is Prado, Tiga, Febvre.
Regarding herlings, come to America and get a fresh feel
I called him for it last year, and although his season was riddled with injury, he showed as impressive speed as anyone when he was there. The 2024 champ will be Maxime Renaux.
Look at the trajectory of his career, he gets better every year. Last year, you could make an argument that it was a sideways step, but he did end it by winning his class and having the overall best score at MXoN for the 2nd year in a row. Kid is 23 years old, rides his fuckin heart out every moto, and definitely has no fear of any of the names on the list he was left off of to start this thread.
Also there is no doubt in mind that Geerts will win races and have blinding speed, especially in the sand…but at the same time I expect some highlight reel crashes.
This thread is foreign to me 🥴
He will be good no doubt but I don’t see him regularly beating the top three consistently!! Looks like Sewar beat Febvre twice yesterday so he must be comfortable on the Kawi!!! Gonna be epic season!!!
Looks like Vital has finally come around on the Gajser train. All it took was for him to win as many 450 titles as the rest of the field has combined.
Everyone knows Gajser is a decent rider, when he faces a healthy Herlings he normally doesn’t beat him. That may change this year.
Pit Row
I agree as a healthy Herlings usually always seems to have the speed to run them all down as seen it soo many times!! He’s been off for a year so could be different story this season!! Drop the gate already!!!
Pulling for Garcia👍
I've been a Gajser fan all along... But I agree, it's taken a bit for people to warm up to him.
49% thinking Gajser? Not that I disagree but very surprised what's suddenly causing people to realize that he can actually beat everyone straight up? Seems like every other year most people thought he only won because Herlings or whoever else was hurt.
It's shaping up to be a great year. I'd add Reneaux as a contender. Maybe Seewer if he gels with the bike.
Also interested to see how Geerts is going to do.
This list. But since injuries will happen i expect Gajser to win it all. It's no disrespect to Prado from my side, but imo his offseason will hurt him later in the season.
A decent rider doesn't go on to win 5 world championships.
I want to say Herlings, but I know better and I know I should go with Gajser.
Death by paper cuts with qualifying race wins and ton of podiums on Sundays by Prado for back-to-back championships.
I didn't actually follow MXGP enough last year. I thought Prado cleaned house most weekends. Not even close. I knew he was winning on Saturday Qualifying races gaining all the new points. Being consistent enough on Sunday sure paid off. I voted Gajser, he had the momentum at the end of the season, But Febvre had 6 wins, Herlings 4, Seewer 3, Prado 2, Gajser 2, Renaux 1, Fernandez 1. Looks like Febvre should've been the clear winner, but every race counts.
Do yourself a favor and get the package!! It’s a full weekend of battles in many different classes and hands down the best coverage by far!! No bullshit just actual racing with zero filler!! Paul Malian makes damn sure the cameras are always where they should be so you don’t miss anything!! Complete opposite of what we have in our series
History says Gajser hasn’t beaten a healthy Herlings to a title.
Well, I kind of agree with you. But Gajser still has 5 MXGP titles and is one fast and consistent guy on a great team/bike.
