Looks like rain is holding off until Sunday night.

Mow lawns and spray some weeds.

Mountain bike Ride Saturday.

Get smoked racing at DT1 Sunday. Looking forward to getting some laps in.

after the race fire up the Traeger or Egg and some tritip.

Driving to Texas from Illinois. Spending a week or so in the Houston area, weather looks great. Riding moto, bicycles and chicks.

Built some sweet stilts for my grandkids, gonna drive over to Indianapolis and have them try ‘em out. After that, ima gonna do some freestyle rapping, bake a tasty Bundt cake, choreograph an erotic dance routine, lay down some tracks for my next Christian gangsta zydeco album, launch a line of disturbing perfumes, then nap.

I saw something watching one of the clash races last night where they have a new under hood downforce package where it takes the air that has passed through the radiator, and pushes it up a cowl where there is an adjustable plate under the hood like an internal wing that can alter the angle of the air to add/remove downforce and speed (that is my technical version LOL).  Of course, I can't find sh@# about it on the web at the moment to illustrate it.  Either way, that is something massively different, it could definitely shake things up.  One thing I was really happy to see with this new aero system, there was no notable change in the racing (superspeedway), the pack was still tight, and drivers can still move around and work their way up and down the order if they want.  There has been previous generation cars that killed superspeedway racing, no pack, no exciting finishes, no (ahem) crashes, I am glad this change didn't screw it all up.

Kind of like SX this year, there is a lot of talent in NASCAR, young and old, it should be exciting (for those that like that sort of thing).

That’s been my dilemma for the last few months, whether to build out a PC to run AC or just buy a PS5 for Gran Turismo… basically the consensus (from what I’ve found, at least) is that if you’re trying to go for full realism, you really can’t beat AC or iRacing, but if you’re looking for something you can just start up and jump right into easily for a few races, Gran Turismo is the better option.

I’ve got a one year old running around the house now, so my time is a little more limited than it used to be, lol. Not to mention building out a PC can get pretty pricey. I’m thinking if I go the PS5/GT route paired with one of the lower-end direct drive wheels, I can get a solid driving experience while keeping the overall cost down. We’ll see how it goes!
