This season truly is amazing as far as the amount of really fast racers competing for wins. We’ve got 5 different winners in 6 races.

So, who else wins a Main?

Who do you think actually has a shot at this Championship?

Me: I think Anderson and Tomac will win Mains & I think the top 7 in points are still “in it”.

I’d say the top 5 have a shot, the top 7 is a stretch. I see AP getting shuffled back pretty quickly within the next 2-3 rounds. Jett is consistent enough in normal conditions to podium the rest of the way and lock this thing down imo. I just hope it stays as interesting as it has been.

These guys are closer than I thought they'd be.  Ken showed he had no issues riding hard the whole race... I agree with you.  Tomac is still my daytona pick, and he'll get better as the year goes on.

The top guys aren't scared of jett at all and it shows.

I think the next few races will cement who is and who isn't in the run. But yeah we got a good ~7 potential title winners right now.

Looks like round 17 won't be down just 1 guy not crashing out to get the W. We'll have a legitimate title fight at the last round.

For fucks sakes, if it wasnt for the mudders, Jet would be up by 25 and the rest of riders would be demoralized by now.  Who are we kidding.  Season's over.

Pretty sure he got a 3rd last night and I didn't see any mud.

Never argue logic with the delusional...

Get ready for the army of Jett apologists to show up in here.      It's gonna be like after a bad night at the Vietnamese restaurant when you're stucco'ing the bowl.

The top 7 are all in.  Whoever stays on two wheels wins the championship.  Don't forget the history of our sport and how quickly it usually eats these guys up. We've been very lucky so far with little to no injuries to the top 450 contenders.

I like that it's interesting. We have no clue how it will look in 3 weeks let alone by the season end. As long as Jett can hang with the heavy hitters, I'm good with that, that's how RD claimed Cships. Consistency and injury free. The recipe for success. Of course wins are good too!

It's possible Jett will win the championship, but his amount of near misses tells me he might not be able to continue pulling off his amazing saves for the whole season.  He's been avoiding some serious snake bites.

This is great, reminds me of the old days! When it could have been, Johnson, Bailey, Ward, Glover, Hannah, for the win!

Webb and Tomac were also pretty timid around Friese.

He's not riding like he did outdoors....he's pushing the razor edge in SX.   Many times, he looks frantic.   Eating a big shit sandwich is coming, it's inevitable.

Did you miss where Webb gave Friese a damn good shove in the main.

I think it can be any of them, Anderson has been solid lately too, just a tick off the pace though.. I do feel Jett can get through the pack better than anyone else at the moment though.

I saw that and kudos to Webb for finally doing something about it. When you have enough, you say fuck it and move him out the way.

Broadcast mentioned he was careful when he was behind him. To be fair, I think everyone is.

Personally I think that Tomac hasn't 'fully' recovered from his achilles injury and he may still be favoring things a little bit, helping add to the arm pump issues they are talking about.  I know that the Tomac's have access to top notch surgeons, physical therapists, etc., but the NBA blows nearly anyone's resources out of the water, especially the Nets' physical health team when Durant went there. He didn't play for nearly 18 months with incredible health and fitness resources available.  I think that it's incredible that Tomac has been able to come back as early as he has (and a huge credit to his medical providers and advisors), but I am skeptical of him being 100%.  Of course, his 75% is better than most people's 120%!!!  I think that he will win at least one 'real' main event race this SX season and he will get better as the season goes on.

As long as he doesn't somehow do more damage, I look for him to get stronger throughout 2024 and I think he could really show some speed to the young folks in the Nationals.  His quick comeback makes me think that there could be a chance that we see him in 2025 lined up for SX, but that may just be wishful thinking.

I’d wait to talk about serious championship contenders until after Daytona. But that’s just me. 🤫🤔🫣

And how many times over the years have we seen Tomac, and many others take their time setting up a pass on barcia in order to cleanly get away from him ??

And during that time the riders up front open up an insurmountable gap.

More times than I can remember.

Same with friese now.

Starts good, holds up everyone behind him as he fall back to mid field.

As of today, any rider with over 100-points has a shot at it.

"If it wasn't for the mudders"  lol...come on. Everyone had to race the same conditions. Jett is showing that he makes too many mistakes when he has to play catch up. How many times did he come up short last night? Any one of those could've ended his season. Also, it's not like he was catching Kenny....and Roczen was managing at that point. Perhaps Jett isn't very good at developing a bike either...

Wonder if he did something to his bike or himself when he did that to Friese? Was right around then he seemed to lose pace

Kenny has a third and a win in the last two races, same as Jett? With Webb, who excels on East tracks and could win Daytona, they have to be title favorites. Sexton is injured, Eli having arm pump, Plessinger wrecking....
