Looks like about 13 min + till the main, I don't think that will be much of an issue for the Top lcq guys.
Isn't this what Matthes has been asking for, to get the stars of the race on the track after opening ceremonies....or is it to get us more Jett sooner....
Counter programming is golf, hockey, and, and college basketball. Not bad if there's a football fan looking for something to watch. It is going to be a really nice weekend most places in the east for the first time in a while so that will hurt viewers.
Here's a pictoral of the population density of the entire US. Looking forward to everyone that complains about peacock complaining about live network broadcasts too.
Probably no time to go to the pits. Are the wrenches going to be waiting in the tunnel with gas and stuff?

Maps are cool. Infographic maps are even cooler. Where did you find that?
I saw it on twitter, thought it was really cool.
Next week.
They’re doing it again this week apparently after “positive feedback”. I wonder where that feedback came from because all I’ve heard from 250 and 450 riders alike, as well as the 250 mechanics, is that they didn’t like the new order of races.
Wonder if they’ll at least switch the LCQ’s around to give the 250 guys a little more time to get things turned around for the main event.
Bring back the Semi races and it fixes the schedule.
450 Heats
250 Heats
450 Semis
250 LCQ
450 LCQ
250 Main
450 Main
Never a fan when they do 450’s first. Just like how they do it a few time for outdoors also, keep it the same for every race
Is it on NBC again this week?
Nah. The next time it’s on NBC live is in Philadelphia.
I like the idea of putting the best riders on the track first, let the fastest riders make the racing lines.
Didn't switch the LCQs.
Rough for those 250 LCQ riders.
Couldn't they at least move ktm Jr's until just before mains to make it work a little better? I think it sucks they're just openly giving the middle finger to 250 lcq guys.
Totally fucked for the 250 LCQ guys.....
10 minute turn around for 250, are Feld NBC negligent and responsible for duty of care?
Is the 10+ pile up of the start the result of fatigue and no time to prepare?
Does Star Racing, and others form a class action and sue the organisers for loss of income ( championship), or possible points?
In my eyes yes.
Pit Row
they switched the heat races but unable to do for LCQs....just morons of an race director 🙄
i understand its rough too going from heat race into LCQ
but better from short Heat into even shorter LCQ as straight into a long main race from LCQ .!?
You want extra time between the Heat and the LCQ to fix your bike if your need to...
If you qualify out of the LCQ, your bike should be good to go for the main...
I bet teams and riders prefered to have a better chance of making it in and sacrificing a little bit of time off between LCQ and the main.
But... why? I don't think we've had a real rational explanation for this switch yet?
It's purely for the TV people. They want big names on the track at the start of the show.
I get that peacock has been good for the sport and is investing etc..... but I hope this doesn't become a slippery slope of them saying we want something and it just happening. Little worrisome to me that those who are in charge of the racing gave into this one so easily when it clearly hurts riders and racing.
There's a lot of irony in the fact that they switch the schedule around to cater to some non-existent "casual fan" that somehow knows the difference between 450 and 250 guys, plus there's a thread on here every other week about how to "grow the sport", but despite these efforts in the end it was McAdoo's pecker hanging out of his pants that got this sport more outside press than anything else in the last 5+ years
Post a reply to: 450 heats before 250's? Why?
