It's amazing how good Ricky Carmichael has gotten in the booth.

I acknowledge his shortcomings but he's not there because he's a seasoned broadcaster he's there because he's Ricky Carmichael. You get what you get blunders and all. I enjoy his contributions to the show.

A couple of cringeworthy comments. 

"Two time chramp".

"Heat races determine their prediction for gate picks".

Not to mention him getting far too hyper orgasmic whenever he's reading his preprogrammed cue cards for any particular rider.

Especially the rookies.

He babbles on about each one like they're the second coming.

He needs to relax and simply call the race action as it happens, trying to talk ahead of the action is where he gets tongue tied.

And comes off sounding like an english class dropout.

This HAS to be satire... He is the worst ever.

I think this is currently the worst pairing we have had, as there is no one to carry them through. Weege is just on repeat. Excitable screaching about nothing just to try and make it interesting in between talking about the Lawrence brothers, and RC continually fumbling his words. 

Weege could do the show practically alone, actually.

A true analyst would certainly add a lot more, but Ricky doesn't do that so here we are.

I believe the network, NBC, Peacock whomever, tells these guys how they want them to react in most situations and “scripts” a lot, if not all of what they say, hence the incessant pandering to new viewers. They don’t tell Ricky to stumble and bumble over most of his “analysis” but they want both of them to do things the way they want them done.  Its a shame they don’t let them speak/react the way they naturally would like to.  I think it would be a lot different if they did but these guys are so used to doing it the NBC way they probably can’t revert back.

The front end rotated to much -  He had a falling  -   Cringe Cringe Cringe all day long  

The memories of his great rides are fading faster every time he opens his mouth.

bubba seems to add a touch more to the colour commentating roll..........RC is becoming abit of a broken record.

I liked Georgia Lindsay, though she did a good job and had a easy to listen to voice.

Doubt it, he’s a bit of a one trick pony. Shouting, and high pitched excitement about absolutely nothing in particular just to try and make it sound interesting isn’t being a commentator. The guy that does race day live would be better, not sure if his name. The worst thing they did was let Blair go. 

RC is pretty bad but I still like the " Oohhhh " when someone almost goes down.  

Georgia was excellent too.

The best of all time was Jenny Taft....  Smart and great with the riders.

It’s the fluff about racing and story lines that drives me insane. Talk about the shit that is happening in front of us as it happens. 
 

they get halfway through the same monologues about how the riders got here and miss some action then bring up said action, then go back to the boring ass story.

The dumbing down of the commentary is mine.

RC explaining what an endo is and also cross-rutting during the race. They don't explain what off-sides is during football, or traveling in basketball!

Don't give me that line, "they're trying to attract new viewers" excuse please and thank you.

I liked where he explained that if you didn’t know what it was like to almost win a supercross race but not finish, that it’s just like almost winning a running race but not finishing.. that cleared up a lot for me 😊

Only once did he call a rider a terrorist.

“He has incredible speed just like the other riders.”

He’s in a must situation. He must pass the rider in first if he wants to win the race. 

you know, if ricky didn't try to say so much, he would be 10 times better. let weege carry the load, hes knows how to do it. all ricky has to do is point out things when they get missed by weege. its like hes trying to hard to force the conversation. just let the race go and point out little things u see. weeg can handle the rest.

Maybe to pry his nose out of Jetts rectum

Ricky has to purposely be speaking like a fourth grade dropout to appeal to the powers that be's idea what the average fan wants to hear or what they want someone to sound like. Grass roots or homey, whatever. It has to be on purpose, nobody being payed to speak on TV can be that totally dumb fuckery and babble mothed. I feel embarassed for him, and he makes our sport look bush league. Pleade someone tell me it's staged.

While we were dotting our I's and crossing our T's, Ricky was doing laps with Jeannie timing every single one of them!

We are witness to the price he paid for success on the track every Saturday night 🤢
