I also think in general folks don’t like to see others succeed..Especially someone like Deegan who came from nothing and created an empire- It makes people reflect on their own lack of success/lack of accomplishments/family situation..whatever ..
We also know regardless how many opportunities 99.9% of us would have had, we would not be nearly as fast at Haiden on a dirt bike- I also think the realization of that is hard for people to accept. So they lash out and “hate”.
Lastly, I do think the more successful/happy..etc someone is in life the less they lash out and “hate” others..
Lying to a million followers is cringe worthy and flipping off your competition is poor sportsmanship. No need to lie to yourself so you have a reason.

Haiden just screams spoiled Brian clone when it comes to personality.
His work ethic, speed, talent etc is right there but the personality is another thing.
He went after Brennan at Lorettas, he went by the HRC truck at Southwick, he was one of the in classy riders to jump in Andos comments along side with Roczen, Forkner and a couple of other riders that had nothing to do with it.

II expect it's because pops took a more shock-jock sketchy dude, fights in bars kind of way to promote, which was anything but core moto. It was a way to make more money than he could racing with his talent, which was pretty high but not big pay check talent. Brian is a killer marketer, and the strategies are designed to get a us or them reaction.
Have zero idea if that is a schtick or real life. I don't have any reason to like or dislike either of them. I suspect a lot of it is that Mulisha legacy for some, jealousy at someone having resources to boost his kids' careers, and all that nonsense at Lorettas.
In the bits that I had to deal with BD38 after Rockstar/Makita broke up, he was looking to hack social for followers, and played that game, felt like a schtick. Eventually, they will burn out the Deegan name ala Metal Mulisha, Tap Out, No Fear, etc.. they need to pull back and let the riding or in Hailee's case driving bring fans. It's cringey, forced and fake. It will eventually (sooner than later probably) be corny to wear a Dangerboy tee to school..
